Just opposite to the Kyoto Station. It had spacious rooms which was really helpful and relieving. Little bit of an old type hotel but had all the facilities and breakfast was good as well. Location is 11/10.

All was great

It's right in front of the train station. We were able to left our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast was OK. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable stay.

Hotel is a little tired, small room. Reception staff member rude when we asked for an extra pillow. When we asked the housekeeping staff they were more than happy to give us extra.

Room got a bit too hot at times, and the aircon wasn't great. Room was also smaller than expected but doable.

Location - across the road from Kyoto station and so many eateries and shopping malls. Reception staff were extremely helpful and professional as were the cleaning staff. Vending machines on every floor. Partner reckons the futon mattress laid out on tatami mats made for a great sleep.

The hotel is a bit small as compared to other 3 stars hotel that I stayed during my visit in Japan.

The property is old but clean. The location is just opposite Kyoto train and bus station. It is very convenient for those planning to take local bus to mingle around Kyoto.

Air con of the room was so weak that it was almost non-existent. Hotel decor is slightly old. Otherwise the hotel is fine.

Location to JR Kyoto station and subway station. Nearby area is very vibrant and has lots of food options. Room is relatively large (by Japanese standard) and WiFi is good. Western breakfast option is also very hearty. Overall speaking, this is quite a nice place to stay.

The aircon during our stay was not cooling, the weather was cool but when you go in the room at times it was hot, we kept it on 18 degrees celsius at high fan but it seems like the blower was only working. The staff is okay but they need to be more friendly, or maybe its because tourist season is at its peak that’s why they look tired and unaccommodating. But they have assisted us well and even communicated well with us. The cleaning staff was outstanding

Going around was very convenient because it is right across the Kyoto Station. The room was kept clean, even if you don’t ask for room cleaning they give you fresh new towels every day.

We booked the moderate room with sofa bed for 3 people. The room is a bit small for 3 people.

You can’t adjust the air conditioning temperature. Even though it has a function to do so the room never gets colder. The rooms are super stuffy due to this and meant we had to open the window which then is super noisy. Air conditioning is very personal so I’d prefer to be able to choose my own temperature for my comfort. Also no where prior to arriving did it state we would have to pay an extra $180 AUD in “taxes” on arrival. I assumed this would have been built into the price, however upon arrival we had to pay an extra $90 AUD per night - which then obviously makes the hotel less affordable. Bathroom was also super old, the shower head kept falling apart and I had to keep screwing it back together and the floor which is a stick on tile was rotting under the sink - hotel needs a huge upgrade in the rooms. Otherwise nice stay. Also beds are single beds so you sleep far away from your spouse, keep that in mind if staying for a romantic stay :)

Its location; room was clean & comfortable. Used the luggage forwarding service to send our luggages to our next hotel in Tokyo. Worked very well.

Close to train and bus stop. Many restaurants within a few minutes walk away. The room was large compared to the room in Tokyo.
