Very spacious rooms compared to typically small Japanese hotels. Location is very close to JR Kumamoto station but a 20 min walk to the main shopping and food area. Beds were comfortable!

Room too small, bad quality price. Cleaning every 3 days though daily towel change. If I went back I would probably choose a better quality price hotel. Too expensive (90$/night)

The room was tired and needed updating. The bed was against the wall , when we moved it to get access both sides, the floor was dusty with debris and hsd not been cleaned in a very long time.

Walking distance to the Kumamoto JR Station. The rooms are spacious and there are two luggage racks. Got a microwave just outside our room.

It has a lovely feel of the old style of hotel…but some things are gettting a little worn.

It was very conveniently located - very close to the station. We could also catch the trams and buses there. A really good location.

It’s a 4 stars hotel, I am surprised that it doesn’t offer breakfast not public bathroom. Lighting in the room is absolutely horrible especially for seniors. There is no light in the middle of the room. The only lights are on top of the bed.

The hotel was in a convenient location- next to the JR Station and the local tram stop. There were quite a number of eateries and a big Can Do supermarket in the JR Station. The hotel was also very close to our car rental company. The staff were friendly. Room was neat and clean. We had a good view of the city from our room and the bed was comfortable.

The room was on the small side which is typical for hotels in Japan.

The hotel is very close to the train station. The hotel room was very clean. There's a small fridge and a kettle in the room, but no microwave though. The breakfast was okay, not as good as the one we had at Solaris in Kagoshima.

I can recall no downside to this place

The space in the room was tight but very manageable. THere was a great bench seat that made all the difference to comfort. Of course the hotel was adjacent to the station and so very convenient to local transport - trams etc

It was small compared to other accommodation on our 3 week trip. The room smelt like chlorine when we first arrived & ventilation was not great. It was like staying in a road side motel in Australia. I know what to expect when I’m home in Australia, but it was a surprise on this trip throughout Japan.

It was close to train station for arrival & airport bus for departure as well as busses & trams for sightseeing.

The bathroom is a bit obsolete but well-maintained, sizable and clean.

Location is great, just next to JR Kumamoto station. If you come by Shinkasen, it is very convenient. A couple car rental shops also are located near the station. Although the hotel does not provide a parking lot, you can find a big parking lot behind the hotel and the parking fee is around 800-1,100 yen per night.

The only problem we had was with the Wifi in our room. We had poor to no internet even with our portable wifi. However we could use the Wifi in the common areas of the hotel.

So many unexpected free extras like the Yokult drinks, ice cream pops, and massage chairs. Location was so close to the train station and bus stops. Extra complements on the quality of the breakfast buffet and the attentive, courteous staff there.
