For a Hostel its good. Its right at the Train Station, where all the Buses for the Heritage go. Would stay Here again.

Location was great for the town- so close to buses & trains, but we didn’t hear them at all. We were on the third floor- great to have an elevator. We were in a double room. Good view. Spacious by Japanese standards

You have no privacy, the bathrooms, entrance and beds are all in one main room so you can hear everything. Also not much place to store your backpacks, everything lays on the floor.

No place to keep luggage secure before check in time. Luckily there are coin lockers at the station very nearby.

Very clean for such a place. Very comfortable beds, great blackout curtains, and it was easy to regulate temperature. Excellent location.

Perfect location in Nikko, very friendly staff. Nice, big room with a balcony. Clean and cozy. Amazing value for money.

The pillows were flat. There was an elevator, but the stairs didn't have a railing. There are not many dinner options nearby.

Very conveniently located right by the station. Check in and check out were easy. The room and the number of beds were exactly what I had booked.

Cafe on ground floor closes early, we arrived around 8.15pm. Definitely not fancy, I might be afraid if I stayed alone as building looked very old.

Location to station and supermarket. Beds were warmed up with electric mat underneath bedsheets.

Towel wasn’t provided, so I had to go down to ask for one. I was given one (and no hand towel), and told the cleaning crew would give me a new towel and hand towel the next day, but the cleaning crew never came to turn over the room or replenish the towels. By the time I got back to the room the front office was closed so I could not get a new towel.

nobody was at front desk even at check in time. there was a drunk man who pretended to work there though but he was friendly. bit of a problem since everyone's bags were there unattended. when i called the number at the desk through whatsapp, someone came down right away though and helped us get to our room eventually. room smelled a bit musty, beds were a bit uncomfortable, and room was quite dated and with a weird layout. fridge and microwave were in the bathroom for some reason instead of in the kitchen.

location-across the road from the station and everything in nikko was easily accessible the room was standard sized for japan, which is very small but multiple rooms and separate bathroom and toilet. wifi and ac all worked fine. cleaner came each day. were able to leave bags at front lobby prior to checkin which helped us lots. Elevator to the room was helpful too.

But the building is old and the renovation was a bit strange. For example they had put in 2 arty sinks but one didn’t work and hasn’t been fixed.

Excellent location just opposite the train station and main bus stop for the world heritage site, and 5 minutes walk to a big supermarket which most people head to in the evening to get discounted sushi for dinner. The hostel is good value and the deluxe area is fairly new and comfortable beds.

A little dated; things could need some fixing up. The right faucet handle was leaking when showering/using the water in the bathroom, the sheets had holes in them, so an upgrade is needed for bed sheets. Also didn’t like that bags were just stored in the lobby/restaurant, even though Japan is a safe country.

It was right across the street from the Tobu station. The room itself was comfortable and the heated blankets kept us warm along with the heater.
