First of all; Maybe it was because of the golden Week but i found almost 10.000¥ a night pretty expensive for a capsule hotel. I am a traveler that enjoys this kind of accomodation and it usually doesnt bother me that space is - of course, limited. But in the first Place, the hopping around between the 7th and 3rd floor in my case to get to anything i need from my luggage wasnt as nice, as well to just change something in clothes or something. I know thats rather common so its a point that just needs some adjusting from my personal side. On the other side, as i was staying several days my checkout wasnt required untill the last day. So i would have loved to stay in my capsule for longer then 10 am. And getting awacken by a hunger games like announcement (funny experience btw) didnt seem to leave me that freedom. I wouldnt mind if theres vacuum cleaners around me and busy people as long as my blinds are kept shut and i can lay down. Maybe that would have been possible, but i dindt feel encouraged to do so and also wasnt sure about a possible reaction from the cleaning staff. Thus i had some difficulties „recovering“ after walking all day and dining in the evening, but i guess thats partially on my own acting.

The vending machines do not take AMEX or SUICA - they only take Mastercard or PayPay. I was unable to purchase anything out of the vending machines in the lounge and there is no bar/restaurant in the builiding.

The location was convenient to Hakata Station - this means that taxis, buses and trains are convenient coming to and departing from the hotel.

If you're a light sleeper, this may not be the spot for you. The sleeping area definitely had some noise as people continued to come in well past midnight, and you can hear snoring from neighboring capsules, etc. But if you sleep easily, this is a great option. Automated check-in was a little complicated, but there was an employee available to help.

The bedrooms and the lockers are on different floors so sometimes it's a bit of a hassle to get from one floor to the other.

I think some people not following rules in there. A person near my capsule, she talked on the phone around 11pm. Even she speaks whispering, that’s disturbing my sleep.

1) Staff is hard to contact if you face a problem. I was lucky that the Staff was just in the lobby when I had questions. Things 2) No air ventilation in the capsule. I was there in March, room is cold enough. I cannot imagine how will it be in the summertime. 3) Blinds, should allow to cover < 100%. As of now, either you close or open.

100% self service. If you are used to hotel arrangements, this Capsule hotel will not suit you. This is my first time trying a capsule hotel, and I had a good experience in 9h, very well organized. I felt like I was entering the Gym Fitness Club when I was at the locker and bathroom. This is the kind of arrangement in this capsule hotel.

I didn't go to lounge room so I don't know where I should charge my phone and other electronic devices, there's only one usb port in the pod, just one, so I was a bit dissapointed, and I didn't know how to address this concern too to the property, I mean it was like no people at the front office. Literally no front desk , u talk to machine, kind of too advanced for me.

minimalistic but very convenient and well thought through. also you don’t need to bring all your luggage as towels, pyjamas sleepers and toothbrush are provided as well as shower amenities.
