Asked staff to freeze ice packs for me, they put it in the fridge not in the freezer. Couldn’t understand why anyone would put ice packs in the fridge but not in the freezer.

Well designed, clean and comfortable room. Complementary facilities such as the hot spring and gym are great for the price we paid too! The staff were really helpful and friendly too :) One of our favourite stays this trip.

Property is situated at the top of hill, one need to drive to this property.

Loved the fact that we can use TV in room to watch Netflix (by logging into our own account). Bed is firm and very comfortable. Our cabin size luggages can be stowed under the beds.

Breakfast was a decent spread. Short walk to ski tows. Lovely bathroom, almost made the onsen redundant - although it too was really nice. Ski storage lockers & access were great. Boot dryers good.

The hotel has no shuttle, so even from a few kms away a taxi was required as the bus service is not regular. The hotel also had minimal to no gluten free food options, and breakfast was one set price, so not appealing with only fruit to eat.

The hotel restaurant apparently only offers a set menu of Western food, which is a missed opportunity. Most tourists come to Japan to eat Japanese food, and there aren't that many options around the Kitanomine area. Even 'downtown' Furano only has a handful of restaurants with inconvenient opening hours, and they all require a long walk or taking one of the occasional buses. Nonetheless we decided not to eat at the restaurant and go elsewhere.

Wonderful brand-new hotel almost directly across from the Kitanomine base station, with clean, functional rooms, a nice bar, excellent breakfast buffet, and friendly and competent staff. Well-appointed gym and a luxurious spa with a sauna (actually two separate spas, one for women and one for men). I would definitely come here again!

could use more boot dryers in ski locker room. restaurant needs to add staff to add capabilities during breakfast (egg, omelet cooking at request), dinner ala cart menu (only had set menu choices, bit limited).

recent new building, very clean, excellent staff, great location, parking, on-sin, ski lockers, ski racks, could use more boot dryers in ski locker room. Deluxe king room was good size for a couple with two suitcases. Bed was very good & firm to our liking.
