Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Japanbig room spacious and very clean. rich and very good varied breakfast. The dinner scheduled to celebrate a child's birthday was with a special menu, we were accompanied by a jazz singer, and the surprise of the evening was the dessert prepared for the celebrated child. then fresh dishes at the Chinese restaurant and again with a surprise for our celebrant. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the staff at the two restaurants and we will be back with love.

UkraineThe room was clean but the sofa cover had some old stains that made me feel really uncomfortable so I avoided sitting on it.
Amazing staff and cool facilities like pool and gym. The location is pretty close to the city centre which is very convenient. The bar is really cosy and the bartender is really kind.

RomaniaWheather in Okinawa is very instabil. We stayed 4 days in hotel because of it, no one told us to leave as soon as possible. So we lost our flight to Europe and spent another 3700 eu to get home. The worst vacation ever. Thailand , Indonesia much better for beaches⛱️⛱️⛱️. If you consider to come in Okinawa don't hesitate and get travel insurance !!!!! Nobody will help you here.
The rooms and breakfast was really good.

Taiwanthe amenities, there was no soap 🧼 and no sponge to wash the body. Maybe because of SDG but I think a small bar of soap would be useful.
The Hotel was ok overall, the environment was clean, and the room was comfortable.

GermanySadly I couldn’t go to the pool due to the opening hours. I would’ve liked to go to the pool in the evening after a nice day in the city.
from the location of the hotel it’s very easy to reach everything in Naha on foot. The staff was very nice and supportive. The parking area was easy to access as well. The Gym was open 24/7 which made it easy to go to the gym after a day outside, even if you come back to the hotel late.

JapanHotel facilities were closed, reportedly because of COVID-19. However, it's been more than two years since the start of the pandemic, there must be a way to continue running these facilities without compromising safety. Many other hotels have resumed most facilities, making it rather disappointing here.
The hotel looks well maintained. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. WiFi was reasonably good and reliable. The location is quite strategic because many areas are within walking distance.

United KingdomLooks nothing like the photos, the place is extremely run down. Wallpaper is all marked at ripped, carpet isn’t laid properly. On site restaurants and extremely expensive and not very nice. The maids come into your room at 9:30am to clean them which is not ideal. The only good thing about this hotel were the staff. They were helpful and accommodating. Me and my partner we were put in a twin bed room and they asked us for extra money to change to a double bed. The hotel as a whole has a weird smell and is very empty. Would not recommend. Definitely not a 5 star
The reception staff were the only good part about this hotel

Isle of ManHotel is indeed in need of some updating work like many Google comments suggested. The dark corridor, dark coloured carpet are just not appealing at all and just can't really feel relaxed. We booked for the club lounge access but it was so packed 2 nights we were there during the evening hours which just wasn't worth it. Provided food was too Japanese focused as well my partner (British) who dislike fish didn't have much of a choice. The hotel's location isn't as convenient as ones on the main street and there's definitely no view of a harbour or ocean.
Room size is relatively bigger than standard Japanese hotels. You'd have no problem opening two 26" suitcases and to still walk around.

FinlandI travel around the world, I usually stay 60-80 nights in hotels a year. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Really good for a 4-star hotel.
The hotel stay was perfect. My friend and I were watching the basketball World Cup and stayed 12 nights in this hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were cleaned, and the sheets and towels were changed every day. We bought breakfast separately on the mornings we wanted it, it was great. The air conditioning in the room worked really well, the curtains made the room completely dark and all the normal services worked. The hotel has a good swimming pool, 7Eleven shop, cash machine, currency exchange machine, sky bar, breakfast, lunch and dinner available. The location of the hotel is perfect in Naha. Walking to the "main street" max. 10 min, excellent local restaurants next to the hotel, 10 min walk to the bus station and monorail stations. There are also parking spaces. I recommend the hotel.
