The bed. It was hard as a rock. Also pillows were super thing and I had to use my blanket as a pillow since it was super hard to fall asleep with the thin pillow. Also there was some consturaction outside the hotel that started at 6AM.

The onsen was great! Absolutely a great experience, also everything was super clean and the staff keeps good care of it. Staff was super helpful and kind even though there was some issues with understanding due to language skill. Very traditional Japanese breakfast with some continental breakfast stuff too. Worth the money. Good location next to the station, but on the other hand it makes some noise from the tracks

They could use better noise protection; our room was virtually next to the train tracks. Fortunately the trains did not run all night

Loved the onsen but I think 41 degrees might be a bit too hot. Location was amazing. Across the street from the train station; easy access to the big Buddha. The breakfast was to die for! Amazing variety, well worth the cost

My wife has a large tattoo on her chest and was told by staff that she couldn’t use the onsen. In all fairness this is a common rule for traditional Japanese onsens, and not necessarily the fault of the hotel. But it is quite disappointing after booking an onsen hotel to learn you can’t use the onsen.

My favourite hotel during my last trip to Japan. Very nice atmosphere. Amazing onsen. Japanese style bedrooms are great. Just next to the train station. And good price for this quality.

The bedroom that we had was rather small. The bed and pillows are hard. The train tracks is right next to the hotel and can disturb sleep during the night.

They don't like tattoos in onsen. Bought a patch in Donki. It loosened after two minutes in the bath. Rest of the time I was worried 🥶.

Breakfast was very good. Great variety. Onsen was good. Free goodies after onsen and free noodles at night time. Room was nice and reasonable big. Location was perfect, just outside of the train station.
