I thought it was very good for the price. There is a small dead garden on the Verandah. If the dead plants were removed it would look better.

The spacious room with cooking and washing facilities. Lots of storage space which made it easy to sort and replace our things. Lots of daylight. You can collect fresh towels daily. The proprietor is very helpful. Senso-ji is about 10” walk.

Sound insulation is not good, can hear other people talking in the next room.

We arrived after 11pm and our keys were waiting for us at reception with a note. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. In a nice and quiet area of Tokyo.

When the guard smoke in the smoke(?) room with the door open, the smoke went upstairs. We could smell it at the hall way even we were on the fifth floor.

A bit far from the major train station at 10-15 minutes walking. Hard to complain otherwise.

Very clean, washing machine works wonderfully, airconditioner as well. In a very quiet suburb of Taito ward. Lots of local eats around, very close to Asakusa! The room we received had a balcony which was a good surprise not shown in the photos.

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel! The owner was so kind and accommodating. We can after check-in hours and were still allowed to get in our room without a problem! The room was very cozy and the bathroom was great as well. We had unlimited access to towels and trash was picked up every day.

Little place for baggage, items, clothes ... - but that is probably similar problem of (fast) every hotel in Japan.. It was sometimes smells a little strange from ventialation pipe(?) (tabaco, waste pipe ?)

About 10 minutes by walk to Ueno station. Good price. Small hotels, but no problem with entry at any time. Older receptionist without any english knowledge, help himself/ourself immediately by pocket e-translator :)

My one complaint is that if the receptionist is not there, you have to call him, which is basically impossible for foreigners because the Japanese government doesn’t allow us to have voice SIMs. It could be very annoying if you’re stuck there.

Value for money because the room includes a washing machine and small kitchen. The bed is a raised futon (so quite hard). Everything is old but not dirty. Asakusa is a clean, middle class, quite residential area that feels very safe. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants around the various metro stations. 15 minute walk to the big temple too.

Excellent position. A short walking distance from Asakusa (500 mt to Asakusa, Tsukuba express station), and approx 800 mt from metro stations Inaricho (Ginza line) and Iriya (Hibiya line). Close to family mart and restaurants. Friendly and kind staff, easy to communicate using a translator on our mobiles and a little English. The room was a triple, pristine and clean, with three actual beds, a private bathroom, a kitchen corner equipped with boiler, microwave and a fridge, and there was even a washing machine. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I'm tall, so the bathroom was a little tight and some darker blinds (5 am sunrise - oof) would have been nice. Oh and ignore the no free Wifi in the description - yes they provide it.

Great room, even with a kitchenette and a 10 minute walk to Ueno. Good local supermarket and a couple of good coffee (espresso) joints close buy. Gent on reception is great and overall good value.

The water didn’t work for our toilet so we couldn’t flush the toilet (though the water did work for the shower and sink).

The staff were friendly and the room was very nicely designed with stained glass windows! The location was brilliant too!

The beds are hard! Like you are laying on wood and they could do with some black out blinds

The property was perfect for the few days I was there. Rooms were fully equipped with everything you needed. Good AC, good bathroom and kitchen facilities
