Very accommodating! The place is very aesthetic! They help us when we got stucked in snow and allowed out request to change our booking... we will definitely go back and stay with them again!

We didn't discover they offered ski passes through their accommodation and paid significantly a lot more through the resort. It would have been great had it been made more obvious to us!

I like a cup of coffee first thing in the moring. For me coming from the U.S. I kept falling asleep at 7 p.m. and waking up at 2 a.m. Didn't see a coffee machine in the cabin. So I walked up to the main lodge and got a hot can of coffee from the vending machine.

We stayed in one of the cabins. There were two western style beds and mats for additional sleeping. Two toilets and a large shower room with a large tub (hot tub maybe - didnt' reallly check it out). Immaculte clean and looked brand new with beautifully crafted wood on the walls, ceilings and floors. All you would need for cooking any meal. Short walk to ski rental places and the main lodge of Hakuba Goryu ski resort. Also many restuaurants within walkable distance. Staff called us that morning to pick us up at the bus stop - nice bonus! Breakfast was delicious and staff very nice!

I enjoyed overall of my stays at Arumu. Staff were being very helpful. Room has good view. Cleaniness - Room were always been tidy and cleaned during the day, Location - Couple mins walk to Goryu chairlift, Breakfast - Always excited what will be serve. Onsen and Laundries are available too.

Great location, right near the Goryu lifts. Large spacious rooms. Very clean and nice Japanese couple running the hotel. It’s very Japanese and the owners speak very little English.

The team doesn’t speak much English but you can get by fine with Google translate. The wifi didn’t work for my phone or laptop. My friends had no problem.

Excellent hot showers and heating. Great breakfast, they can accommodate gluten intolerant people. The dry room is great and there’s also a small onsen (available during certain times). Friendly staff. It’s just a few minutes walk from Hakuba Goryu. Room was spacious enough. Beds had warm blankets and excellent room heating, we never felt cold in the room. The place is cleaner and better maintained than it looks in the photos. There are 2 washing machines and dryers.

The owners were so helpful. Really appreciate their help with our luggage especially with 2 young kids and in the winter. If they are reading this, Thank you to everyone especially Yuri-san. The cottage was amazing! Would love.to come back again one day.

We loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Fabulous spacious and very comfortable cottage, located just a 2 minute walk to Escal Plaza for skiing and restaurants. We appreciated the lift to and from the train station and breakfast each day, which included fresh soup, salad and eggs. Our hosts were very helpful and made sure had everything we needed.

Very clean. Free Breakfast is great and highly recommend to try the dinner. Hosts are super friendly that took care of me well And even gave me a ride to nearby before and after my stay.

Just a suggestion, we did not see clear signboard with name of this property in English. There were 2 different lodges side by side at the location. This hotel is the one on the right. We mistakenly went into the left one initially.

Loved the spacious room! Just us 2 but there were 4 beds, a proper table in dining area. Heater worked well in November weather. The host was very helpful and comsiderate, pointed out the kitchen facilities and helped us to use the hot water dispenser. Can buy tickets for 3 activities in Hakuba from the hotel. We purchased the Iwatake Mountain gondola ride.

The guesthouse provided a delightful traditional Japanese experience amidst nature. The spacious and cozy rooms, along with deliciously prepared and varied breakfasts each day, made our stay memorable.
