only hv 2 shared bathroom which only locate at ground floor. if no peak season doesn't face any problem. kitchen a bit dirty, should clean up after each usage

A tan-skinned foreigner peed outside the WC and didn't bother cleaning it. Was very unpleasant. Not a fan of shared bathroom to begin with, but this is on another level.

The host is very welcoming and funny. They try to speak a lot of languages!

It was a bit noisy at night, but the staff can provide earplugs if you ask.

The room and bed were comfortable, the location was perfect for exploring Kamakura, the showers were good and clean, and we got to meet all kinds of nice people! There is even a washer and dryer.

Great location- 5 minute walk from the beach. Really friendly, fun and helpful staff. We enjoyed borrowing the body board and surfboard for the day. Room was very clean. Shared toilets on every floor very convenient.

My room was a bit stuffy, but maybe I just got unlucky with the corner room hit by the sun.

Super friendly host was even offering me to let me use his surfboard. The place is very close to the beach and all attractions of the town are in easy walkable distance. Very good value for money.

Living room was a bit to small and decorated a bit to comfortable. Felt like I walked into someone's house rather than a Hostel. But it is a guesthouse so it was fine. No pets and the kitchen is very limited.

Close to the Daibutsu and Hasedera. Not to far from the station. Small room but had everything that I wanted / needed. would come here again. close to the beach and shopping area.

We were annoyed and disappointed on our last day :( . As we made our breakfast, the other staff blame us that we didn’t clean or sort out the garbage.

We loved it because we were able to cooked some foods ;). The beach is so close. The staffs( Mao & Kota) are so friendly, accommodating ,generous and very entertaining :). Walking distance from kamakura and wadazuka station. They let us used one of their surfboard which is so AWESOME!!! SAYONARA PARTY WAS AMAZING!!!

Small space to hang out at the entrance, no lounge or reception area. Rooms are small too, but clean and tidy, perfect for staying one night or two.

The rooms and facilities were clean, kitchen well equipped and accomodation is in a good location. I think is a very good option for solo travelers, as people are very friendly. The location is very good, close to the beach and Kamakura station.

It shouldn't be advertised. It's really bad. They get lucky because young guys are ok with the price. Everything in that place is sad. A real sense of poverty. As you step inside the place, you think straight away what the f..... washing machines area, room inside, external area ( entertaining area) bad. It's not me to score so bad, but someone should stop this kind of place to be open.

This is actually Booking.com's problem: I think they're listed twice. If your reservation fails, try again, I seem to have first made a reservation with the listing that doesn't work, then ended up with two reservations without realizing it. The staff quickly fixed that when I arrived.

Excellent location, very comfortable private room, nice shower. The staff was super helpful, from check-in through suggestions and assistance during my stay. A short walk from the beach, nearby convenience store, nice cafes a short distance west along the beach.

This is a great place, close to the beach, close to Daibutsu Buddha, I’ll definitely stay again if I’m ever in Kamakura. The bed was big and comfy. The shampoo and body wash was lovely lemongrass. Lots of good places to eat closeby. There are bikes and surfboards if you need to use one. Thank you for everything!

I paid extra for a doble bed and received a doble bed small. Too small for my husband and I which led us to book a second room (doble bed small) and this time we received a regular doble bed. I was told I would receive a refund for the extra room but am still waiting. You could hear the washer or shower at night from the second floor. Not to bad but would be disturbing for a light sleeper.

The host was kind. The kid at the property was sweet The space felt family owned. The location is great. The beds and pillows are comfortable.

In my room, the chair was a bit big and made me stuck before I reach the closet. As interior, I like the chair but a bit hard to work some hours continuously. Eventually, I moved things and used the bed as chair.

I could easily go Hase temple, Kamakura D aibutsu, Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine, vegetable market, nostalgic shopping streets, etc. even by walking.

Bedsheets bad quality and their dark blue colour, cleanness, no sound proofing, I really did not sleep the whole night as my neighbor/next door lady was walking out of her room, slumping her door, slumping the balcony door, going to the toilet, going to the balcony and walking into the corridor every 5 minutes, she was walking in and out of her room for the whole night long really. It was really a night mare.
