There's abit of stairs up to the hostel, and the room are not as spacious, carrying bigger size luggages might be a little inconvenience. More suitable for those who travelling light. Personally think that the cloth toilet seat cover is not necessary. It's better to do without it because it's easier for the user to wipe the toilet seat for hygiene purpose. Toiletries and towel for rent available with 100yen each

I like the location. Not far from the train station. And few minutes walks from food and convenient stores. Bed and shower room is clean. Good for a short stay and backpacker/ light travelling.

The one mixed dormitory would be unbearable if completely booked out. No storage space for luggage/backpacks, which would require a lot of uncomfortable maneuvering if half the guests weren't single briefcase business travelers (?!).

Tiny hostel with backpacker vibes, and a full functioning kitchen. I loved the little "nook" of a common room. Reliable internet connection and easy to socialize with other guests. Tons of information and tips on travel & food in the area. The staff were friendly and chill.

Rooms were very small. Hardly any floor space for storing belongings, I had to leave my small suitcase in reception. You took one step out of the ladies bedroom and would be right next to the Reception desk....not a big problem, and I saw the funny side of it. The bedding wasn't dirty but it didn't seem as good as most hostels that I stayed at.

Clean, homely kitchen and seating areas. Bathrooms were also well maintained. Pleased that we could bring our own food - cutlery, plates and microwave were provided. The location was great - relatively close to the train station. The staff member who was on Reception was friendly and so helpful with travel tips etc. which made a big difference to my stay. I loved that they displayed plenty of information in the lounge area on recommended places to visit, and importantly how to get there etc. In other hostels they didn't provide such info at all, or not so much.

Storage space is quite limited, meaning that everyone keep their belongings close to the beds, and the room can become quite loud when people go to sleep and wake up.

Very nice atmosphere, the location is perfect for anyone who wants to visit Odawara, Fiji-san or Hakone. No problem to get back there anytime in the night or leave early in the morning. There are share space to chill with other resident, shower (with soap), the room is very confortable and there is a small kitchen to prepare what you want.

The facilities and bedding seem dated and it didn't feel super clean. But for the incredibly low price, I expected nothing more than a place to lay my head for the night, and that's exactly what I got, so it is what it is.

The price is unbeatable, the check-in is easy and smooth, and the location is very close to Odawara Station.

They only have 2 toilet with bidet, and when we stay there, one of them is broken for the whole night (havent been repaired). The bed is quite hard, and the room is quite hot when we sleep because the airconditioner is only 1 for the whole room for 10 person (and no window open). No place to store luggage in the bedroom (we bring only the small one). No such place for storing important stuffs (i ever stay in another hostel, they provide lockers with keys which i can't have here).

The staffs are friendly and speak english well, and the hostel is clean.
