Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Switzerlandconsidering the high price i expect that i am allowed to use the pool even with tattoos, it’s not a ryokan in the end. at very least they should inform on the booking app. and also, considering that i booked a more expensive room with a sea view, they gave us a room on the ground floor with hardly view on the bay since there is a bush in front of the balcony. very disappointing..

JapanThat the Gym was closed, but I guess that is understandable given Covid-19 measures in place.
The breakfast was amazing and they accomodated my vegetarian dietery needs well. I also liked the piazza below my room, with fountains and flowers and fruits in it....felt like Spain. Definitely want to bring my family along next time, instead of coming alone for work, and enjoy sitting down there.

JapanWe could not swim in the pool (Only be on the poolside.), even though it was very hot in mid June--it is not open until July! The breakfast is over-priced (¥4,000) for a one plate breakfast (Not a buffet!) The dinners were also over-priced with the courses beginning at ¥8,000. The tennis courts were not well maintained yet there was a ¥3,000per hour fee to use them. Table tennis also required a ¥2,000 per hour fee--I have never seen that in Japan!
The location was nice and the poolside was beautiful.

JapanIt’s very expensive, the pool is only open in August so despite really nice weather we weren’t able to use it. the restaurants on site are EXTREMELY over-priced and being that the hotel is quite far from any other facilities you don’t have much choice but to eat there.
Really nicely designed hotel, everything looks great and feels like you’re in the Mediterranean. The room was spacious and comfortable.
