Beautiful property, clean, very modern, good location walking distance from city center. We had a wonderful stay in Kanazawa!

Fantastically located modern-traditional property with futons etc. Very clean with all necessary conveniences & very modern in design. Nice bathroom. Some of the instructions could have had a tad more translation in the guide book i.e. the air-con & the washing machine, but we worked them out - so all good! The location was literally a minute away up to the main road and shops and buses and a very easy walk to the castle and gardens. And also minutes to a traditional street in other direction with some lovely places to eat, and some other sites. Very cozy with the heating on - a very pleasant stay in all.

Lovely modern stylish place to stay comfortably in Kanazawa down a small, unassuming street. Everything is thought about! So many things we appreciated: The smart bath which fills up by the touch of a button and talks The bath salts to go with said bath The yukata to relax after said bath or sleep in Washing machine, detergent and dry rack The freshener spray The battery powered light to put by the bed so you don't have to walk to the bed in darkness The electric blankets and many ways of heating the rooms The 'bath towels' in packets to use in the bath/shower, these were really great to clean ourselves with The shoe horn and stand The drip coffee packets

Things looked nice but were not always very well thought out, there was no place to hang your jackets, no light switch close to the bed, it was also quite dark even with all the lights on. Also the included breakfast was disappointing, the next day I had bought some extra to make breakfast.

Great apartment. Owner met us to check in and shared info and recommendations for Kanazawa. Location is great, down the street and over the bridge to the main street. Nice to stay in a quiet little residential street.

Wow just Wow The room was amazing, Clean , new and very big - The shower was amazing and all the rest as well. The room is very stylish and the combination of the traditional Japanese design with modem hipster touch! the owner is the nicest he explains you everything not only about the room but also about everything around and transportation and answers all the question you have. we wrote to him privately after the deadline that we might need to change the dates and he was willing to help us and was very thoughtful we enjoyed it so much, the location is 4 min from the main street Thank you! We highly recommend

There's a washing machine but not with a drying function so nearby laundromat was recommended to use.

Located in a quiet residential area and not too far from some of highlights of Kanazawa. It's a lovely new building comprising both traditional and modern characters of Japanese dwellings. The owner/manager was very helpful providing information we needed.

Loved our stay here, the room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. We were met by the owner who was very kind and informative and he talked us through the distances to the various sights in Kanazawa, which were all walkable and were truly beautiful. The accommodation itself was modern yet traditional, and we appreciated the kitchen and the washing machine as well! There are also restaurants within 5 mins easy walk.

Beautifully designed accomodations and building in a very quiet street but only 5 minutes walk away from the main area of the city. The rooms are well fitted out and comfortable. Most of the city’s attractions are within reasonable walking distance, it was an excellent base to set off from and return to at the end of the day.

It's a little off the beaten path so it feels like you're going to an actual house and not a hotel. The owner speaks English, not best but can understand one another. He has maps and fliers to help you get around the city. He explains how the buses work and where to find bus stops. If you want to know what a small apartment would look and feel like, this is the place.

A comfortable and clean apartment. The location is very good (a five minute walk to the downtown area, but set in a quiet residential area near the river).

Owner of proper made a proper introduction and also suggested the best ways to sight see Kanazawa. It really made the planning to the next day much easier and less nervous about seeing a place we haven’t been before.

The air conditioning stopped during the middle of the night and made some noises during the second night. That was really a small isolated incident that didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay at this wonderful place.

The place was a very comfortable, spacious and a beautiful modern ryokan. The owner welcomed us upon our arrival and showed us how to make ourselves comfortable there. He refunded us the prepaid breakfast fees immediately as my wife is allergic to wheat and could not enjoy the breakfast supplied by his nice coffee shop. He asked us about the purpose of our stay: such as whether we were just transiting. As he understood that we wanted to visit Kanazawa for 3 days, he provided us with a map explaining where the main attractions were and how to reach them with the public transportation. He also helped us to send our luggage with the Takkyubin express courier service to our next hotel.
