Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Singaporeshort walkable distance to nagoya station, well stocked amenities in room and freely available extras like bath salts and fresh coffee provided at the lounge. free to browse books at lounge too were a welcome sight. room and bathroom were very clean, nice and comfortable, even sleepwear provided! staff kindly provided luggage storage for a whole day after we checked out in the morning and returned in the evening. note to travellers with large luggages, recommend to use main train exit and road crossings to reach hotel, the underground pass exit closer to the hotel only has stairs.

JapanI felt like the bathroom could have been cleaner. Also, the room was smaller than I expected.
The decor of the room, the lobby and the coffee available were all good.

United Arab EmiratesIt would have been nice if the hotel provided additional pillows in the room. And if a coin laundry machine is available as well.
The location is very convenient since it is a few meters aways from Nagoya Station and Uni Mall. Plus an Ichiran branch just beside the hotel. And we really like the hotel's aesthetic style. The staffs are very accommodating as well.

Hong KongWifi connection was a disaster, not recommend for people who need to have stable network and keep connected during their stays. Basically connection was lost every 5 mins, would not be a problem if you just wanted to watch some streaming video, but just not for you if you'd have to stay online for work/ video calls.
Staff are helpful and nice, and at prime location close to Nagoya station.

JapanThe TV on the room is an older model without smart functions, so the only entretaiment options are broadcast TV. I widh I could cast my phone content to the TV to watch Netflix or YouTube. Also, the WiFi speed is bad, I had to use my mobile internet to have to have a decent video call to my familly.
The checkin was easy, even thogh I can't speak Japanese. The bed was really confortable, and the air conditioning was really good to keep the room nice and chill during these hot days. It's pretty close to the station, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

IrelandVery poor nights sleep as you cannot control the temperature at room level. As the room was small, it got far too hot. We had to leave a window open all the time, however at night its very loud. The window was also frosted over in the room, which made the room very dark during the day.
Great location. Very clean.

AustraliaNot very clean. Spots in places and hair in drainage. Rooms on 3rd floor is very small and dark, bad ventilation. Lobby looks nice and chill but not allow eating, no microwave as standard for other hotels I've been to in Japan.
Close to station, if it rains you can go straight to the hotel because there's an exit right next to it but have to first find UniMall underground which could be a challenge. Ichiran Ramen is downstairs if you'd like to try that. Price is good.

United KingdomThe rooms were tiny which was expected, honestly this is what you pay for, but the problem is the heat, it’s end of march currently so you physically cannot turn on the aircon (they only allow aircon during summer months) and it’s stupidly stuffy as our windows also won’t open. After a shower it felt like a sauna. It’s also not the cleanest room. The lifts were also very slow at times.
The location is fairly good, it’s directly above an Ichiran, and you can walk from the underground part of Nagoya station to the hotel (although you need to get up some stairs).

PhilippinesThere was no gym. But doesn't really affect the overall stay at the hotel.
I loved the location. It's just a few mins away from the station. There are lots of restaurants in the area as well. Unimall is just below the hotel, which has access to everything else.
