We had an amazing stay at Camp Mahoroba. Staff is very kind and helpful and the view on the Mount Fuji is priceless.

It was quite cold when we visited, so we would have enjoyed having an outdoor heater on the balcony. No hooks to hang your towels in the bathroom.

We had an absolutely incredible experience!! The room was clean and well organised with everything you could need. Appreciated the heating in the room and the outdoor blankets. Would highly recommend adding the dinner and breakfast set - everything was delicious and easy to cook. The dinner set was enough for two people for two meals, so it was great value. We were lucky enough to get a great view of Fuji on our last day, but even without the view of Fuji we had such an incredible experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again if we get the chance!

It´s a bit far off from Kawaguchiko which you need to be prepared for. We took a cab and rented bikes from the camping which worked out fine.

Beautiful view and really nice cabin with a good barbeque setup. Located very close to a cool temple and a very popular shrine with at great view of Mount Fuji. Loved the option to rent e-bikes that we used to explore the area.

No major issues other than another guest leaving rubbish and being noisy at night. Still highly rate.

Lovely spot with a wonderful view of Mt Fuji. The accommodation was nicer than what it looked like in the photos. I loved having shower and bathroom facilities whilst camping. The BBQ, amenities were very thoughtful and I was surprised to see a fridge. I would recommend to other travelers.

Good place for camping and more suitable if you have a car. It is a very good camping site, with bbq equipment, therefore they don’t offer or sell cooking materials so you would need to prepare it before coming to the camp site. Convenient store is not close and it takes about 30 mins to walk there and another 30 minutes to walk back. So recommend to bring it before or come with a car.

Thought I was getting mountain views and the price of the property reflected that. When arrived wondered what direction the mountain was as it was a cloudy day. Looked through my booking and the photos. There are 105 I think photos and on 103 it says this property does not have mountain views. Just a heads up for anyone that does not look past 100 photos.

Lovely, quiet location in the woods. Super peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed using the jacuzzi and booked the bbq package which included lots of food and we really enjoyed. Shared facilities for shower and toilet were all really clean. Pao had lots of space and was nice and warm.

Beware that getting taxis, once in the main town, is difficult and time consuming.

Quite possibly the best place I’ve stayed in amongst many nature retreats.

Love this cabin of ours. It was so comfortable with the futons, blankets and sheets smelling fresh. When the weather is good, you can see Fuji San. It also had a bbq and kitchen utilities that we could use.

Abit hard for driving as the road is very narrow. Walk wise is kinda hard to reach the place. But it will be a nice walk with good weather

The guys were absolute legends. They picked us up from fugi station for free and dropped us to accom. Also drove past the supermarket first for us as we needed to get supplies. They also helped us by writing down specific travel steps for getting from fugi to hakuba. They dropped us at the bus stop for free and stayed with us until the bus arrived. Highly recommend staying here.

The space heater would only run for a short time. Make sure you get the dome tents or villas for colder evenings.

The view was amazing, and the rooms and facilities were excellent, but most significant was the staff. We came with the expectation that we would be able to find somewhere in town to take our group of 23 for dinner. We were not aware that most establishments close before 6PM in the winter in this area. A member of the staff sought us out and offered to drive our team leaders to the grocery store 20 minutes away so that we could BBQ. It saved the day and we could not be more grateful to them. It saved the day.

Amazing view of Mt Fuji, great facilities (separate bathroom and shower, but both nearby) and overall a fantastic experience! One that we'll never forget. Even though it was -2c, the tent was warm and cozy, and the shower room was heated too. The staff at the reception spoke some English and were very helpful. An added bonus was that the tent was walking distance from a waterfall and shrine with Mt Fuji view.

Absolutely everything, the staff were incredible, so friendly and so helpful, they're amazing people! The location is perfect too, the most beautiful place we visited in Japan and we travelled a lot, nothing compared 😌 I'll definitely come back every time I visit Japan, it's the most beautiful place in Japan and the staff are the best, they really did do everything possible for us and did their best to make us feel welcome and happy. みんなありがとうございました ❤️

Amazing location with an impressive view of mount fuji (if weather permits). Shared bathroom & showers are super clean and nicely heated in winter. Our dome tent was very comfortable and dinner & breakfast were great with instructions on how to prepare. Couldn’t have wished for a better glamping experience.

It was a little hard to access in the winter.

Beautiful property, with amazing and helpful staff, we loved the Futon beds too. The cottages were very warm and the bedding was very comfortable. The cooking facilities at our cottage we’re excellent and had everything we could need.
