The location is actually quite far from the station and the road is quite deserted at night. Better to take the front road near big street rather than the back road which pass the rihga hotel but it's walkable with large suitcases from Kyoto Station. The AC, I don't know why I can't setup the AC to cooling mode only. It's on automatic mode so at first night the room become so hot, the second night the room is so cold. Maybe giving a manual on how to operate the AC The step in laundry room. We almost fell twice on that step because we forgot.

The room size is really nice, it's clean, homey, feels japanese. No housekeeping (every 3 nights) but you can asked for garbage collection, change of towel and extra amenities are provided in lobby and it's kinda like an exclusive hotel with only 6 room for each floor so it fell really nice. There's a window in the room and if you close it, it's really soundproof inside eventhough it's noisy outside. I like how there's somekind of mosquitos net outside the window so I feel safe opening the windows everyday.

A slight distance from the train station, but actually closer than I thought.

We stayed with our family of 3 adults and 2 kids. The rooms were very big, facilities were very clean and nice. The beds were very comfy and the tatami and futons were also great (kids ended up just wanting to sleep on the futons). The staff were super friendly and also were able to help us do luggage delivery. Amenities had everything we needed.

Everything was great, however, the bed needed an extra pillow on each bed, or, a more fuller pillow. The pillows weren’t all that comfortable.

The smell in the lobby was awesome. Everything else worked perfectly as well. Very close to the Kioto Railway Station made it greatly located. The room was spacious and very convenient. Highly recommended!

It is about 900m walk to Kyoto station, so it’s a little tucked away.

Very nice little ryokan with hotel quality. We were greeted by friendly staff. Great customer service. Room is very clean. Surprisingly quite spacious. We like this ryokan and will definitely come again if we ever visit Kyoto again.

Nothing, it was a wonderfull experience.

The space of the room was the biggest of all the hotels we stayed at in Japan. We loved the proximity to the train station, since we used Kyoto as a base so we could travel fast from it to the surrounding cities. The staff was nice, and it was always clean. Best decision we made in our trip.

Close to kyoto station (10 minutes walk) make sure you follow the hachijo west exit. It's a very easy walk from the hotel to the station. The room was big, clean and have all the basic amenities. If you're staying less than 4 days, there is no daily room cleaning (which we don't mind). You are free to stock up on any amenities at the front. Love how it's traditional and modern. Will definitely stay here again

The room is very clean and spacious for our family of 4. Had the chance to feel the tatami floor and sleep on futton bed which is very comfy. The staffs are the best very warm, friendly and very professional. I will definitely coming back to Kyoto and will stay again in Rinn Kyoto Station West.

No daily cleaning or breakfast. Not a big deal because they clear your dustbins if you put it outside and you can change towels if you’d like… location wise, there isn’t much in the immediate area..about 10min walk to Toji temple or Kyoto station. Floors could be slightly thin so you hear upstairs dwellers in the morning. They offer ear plugs in the lobby. Overall, no big problems.

Very spacious room with 4 beds. Toilet was big too. Hotel was always warm and scented when we returned and it felt homely. Seems rather new and we liked it!
