The room was gorgeous, the breakfast delicious. But the staff were so kind. I had a minor medical emergency my second day, and a staff member called many doctors to find me an appointment for that day. She was so gracious and kind and really made the rest of my trip possible.

The location was a couple of blocks away from the metro station, and needed to take a few stations to major tourist spots.

Room is very clean and spacious, bed is super huge for a two-people room. Can use machines to do self check-in and check-out, and a supermarket is just right downstairs, couple of convenience stores nearby too. Super close to Kyoto Pokemon Center, good for pokemon fans and trainers.

Our room was nice and spacious, the beds were a good size, and the bathroom was well equipped. My favourite was the very comfortable pyjamas that I ended up buying a set of my own from the hotel. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Staff was nice and friendly. Location was great, close to bus stops and train stations. They also had washing machines & vending machines so it was so convenient. We loved everything!

It would be better if the employees knew at least basic English. Most of the guests are foreigners and I often had difficulty communicating with the staff.

I have a high level of dust allergy but the rooms were extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a bathtub in the room. They placed products we might need such as shower gel, shampoo, and toothbrush in front of the elevators, which made my stay at the hotel much easier. It is also great that there is a huge market under the hotel.

Its location was a bit further from the river than expected but buses and metro were quite close.

Elegant & modern design both in room and public areas with slightly larger than usual room. The generous Happy Hour(s) in the lobby restaurant was a bonus. Next door to a fantastic supermarket.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. We stayed in the Standard double room (queen bed) and the room was a little small for us (2 adults and a child) but adequate. There is a fantastic supermarket downstairs which has a bakery and lots of ready to eat food which was so handy although it doesn’t open until 9.30am.

I loved the centrality of the location. I love the convenience of the supermarket directly adjacent to the property. The staff was friendly and spoke English well, which made it convenient for foreign guest. I loved the hospitality hour provided for all the guest in the evening. I loved have access to a washer and dryer. The hotel was very clean and updated

The hotel was slightly further from the centre than I anticipated so some people may need to consider that, BUT, it was in a quieter area and away from the big crowds so overall we preferred this location.

It's a new hotel so everything is clean and up to date. The lounge with free drinks and snacks was great. The staff were very helpful. The toilet 😍

Very convenient to everywhere. 5 mins to metro station or you can hop on a bus to Gion easily. A ‘life’ supermarket at the first floor. The breakfast is the the highlight of the whole stay! Highly recommended
