We spent one night here on our way to Naoshima and Hiroshima, and this hotel was the best one we stayed in in Japan - and the best value! It was comfortable and felt luxurious. The onsen was fantastic, the bed was comfy and the room had nice lighting options. Loved the billiards too. Breakfast was great, with mostly Japanese options and a rooftop view. We were sad we didn’t have more time here!

One of the best hotels we stayed in, and for a budget price! You get a free glass of local wine, the rooms are very nice, and the onsen is perfect - even has a sauna and a cold pool. The location is a few minutes from the old town, and also about 10 minutes from the train station by foot.

Didn’t like the pillows - I’m sure they were great quality and expensive but I like a softer squishier pillow. Everything else was excellent.

Didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel- went to Starbucks instead! Loved our rooms, the onsen, the location which was five minutes from the station and ten minutes from the Bikan quarter. The front office staff were very helpful. We used the guest laundry and loved that we could track the progress of our wash on our room screen. Altogether a very classy stay.

The staff was very friendly and took the time to recommend us a very typical restaurant close the hotel. THANKS. The public bath was very nice. And the view from the breakfast was amazing. We also had a special menu that was delicious. The rooms were big and very comfortable. And the location is ideal: 5 min from the station and 5 min from the touristic sites.

Nothing at all we didn’t like, it was perfect.

Excellent location for walking to and from the train station and the Bikan Historic quarter, Ivy Square. Immaculately clean hotel, with excellent help and service from the staff. Delicious, generous breakfast , comfortable beds and use of a wonderful Onsen.

Our room was typically Japanese size: small. It was functional though. Due to its small size there is little privacy with regard to the bathroom. The bathroom pocket door offers no sound-proofing.

Superb location, stylish thoughtful decor throughout, excellent ambient lighting and lighting control in room (dimmers), espresso machine, excellent top floor dining area with delicious breakfast, professional staff.

For the price, nothing.

What a gem. Priced like a budget hotel, it’s new, cost, room has an amazing bathroom, and the hotel has great facilities. Free alcoholic drinks in the lobby and free coffee/tea on the rooftop after 3 pm. Very close to Bikan historic quarter.

The view lounge on the 11th floor was available for the guests from 15:00-24:00 for coffee or tea (free of charge).
