The location can't be beaten if you want to stay in Asakusa, everything was really clean and the owner is really nice, she does everything to help you. I always liked our late night chats. Too bad I had to go.

The owner is super friendly and the location is the best you could get in that area. Room itself is comfy and have everything that you need. The reception opens at 7:30 and allows luggage storage before check in and after check out.

Room was quite small for western standards, but very comfortable and in traditional Japanese style.

Location, friendly staff, welcoming treatment every day, family guest house, quiet pedestrian lane, close to many stores, restaurants, souvenir shops, important temple. View from window was very nice, overlooking the sky tree and row of small stores leading to the temple.

The dryer machine didn’t work well, the clothes were still damp after one hour dry.

Very nice staff, english speaking and very welcoming. Rooms had everything you need. It is in the middle of the asakusa district literally next to the shrine. It was quiet during the night.

This type of hotel is not for those who want the "full", large scale traditional Japanese hotel. This is on a small scale. This is not a criticism just to notify those who want the convenience of a larger scale hotel mixed with the traditional ryoken setting.

The location is superb. 5 min walk from sensojii temple, 30 seconds from the nakamise-dori street market. Staff were extremely helpful and funny. A great value 2* hotel!

The size and view from our window was a super bonus. Nice large room and very comfy beds. Can't have a better location to the Shrine and local street shopping. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Next time I will come here again and stay longer then 2 days.

As it is so close to the market and the temple, it does get a bit loud. I am a sound sleeper and I did wake up. Bring earplugs if you need them.

Location was fabulous and so close to everything. The owners are so sweet and attentive, and gave some restaurant recommendations for me as well It is a simple place— please Google what a ryokan is before booking. It will be small and it will be simple. You will sleep on a futon mat on the floor. The building is older but there is a lift so no worries about heavy luggage.

As a solo traveller, it was perfect for me. The room was spacious enough and it was right at the temple. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. If I am to come again, I'd definitely book here. The shops at the temple open quite late for me..I went around 8am n it was probably only 1 or 2 shops that opened. So if u wanna shoppin go round almost 10 am.

It was a little noisy early in the morning coming from the streets,, but it was ok for me and did not affect me a lot.

Location was excellent, close to Sensoji Temple and train station. Very easy to find and get around. The old lady and boss lady were very nice and friendly too. They were very nice to help look after my luggage before and after my check in because of my odd flight hours. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here as the futon was really comfy and room is nice and clean.
