Their Japanese room was the most beautiful of the whole trip with a lovely view. The futon was so comfortable, we had a great stay.

The design of the lobby and some parts of the hotel is a bit outdated.

The beach is right outside the hotel and the view from room and one of the hot springs is magnificent. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel so you can go everywhere easily.

The hotel is right next to the beach and near the main dining street. We can see the beach when enjoying the hot spring at second floor. It’s a great accommodation at Shirahama. Highly recommend.

Not meaning places to eat with the family (two young kids) around, but we did go off the peak season, maybe it changes during summer.

This property is ocean front, which was ideal for the kids to go out to play at the beach. Also it was great to have a private onsen to share with the family. The room has plenty of space for a family of four, with living, two rooms and bathrooms.

As a resident of Japan, I wanted to use the government-sponsored discounts (zenkoku ryoko shien). Unfortunately, I had not ticked the appropriate box on my online reservation and the front desk refused to allow me to take advantage of this program when I checked in.

The meals were amazing and the service exceptional, particularly in the restaurant. The view of the beach was great, except that it was winter so we were unable to go swimming. Maybe next time!

Extremely nice hotel with big rooms with a sea view, great onsen and very friendly staff. The location directly at the beach is amazing. There is a translation errror on booking.com: The rooms have their own bathroom! There is also a supermarket directly in front of the hotel and several Restaurants close by.

While my stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall, there were a few minor drawbacks that I should mention. Firstly, I had booked a room that was supposed to be on a high-level floor, but upon arrival, I was given a room on the lowest floor. This was a bit disappointing, as I had hoped for a better view. Part of the sea view from my room was blocked, which was a bit of a letdown. I had expected an unobstructed view of the sea, but unfortunately, this was not the case.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. It offered stunning sea views that made my stay even more enjoyable. Waking up to such a breathtaking view was truly a treat. Additionally, the food at the hotel was exceptional. The meals were delicious and very full, which left me feeling satisfied after every meal. I was impressed by the variety of dishes available and the quality of the ingredients used. The hotel was situated near many sites, which made it easy for me to explore the area. I had access to many attractions and activities that were only a short walk or drive away. This made my stay very convenient and enjoyable. Finally, the hotel had a bus stop right in front of it, which was incredibly convenient for me. I was able to easily travel to other parts of the city without any hassle. This made it easy for me to explore the area and take in all the sights and sounds. Overall, my stay at this hotel was fantastic. The combination of the stunning location, delicious food, nearby attractions, and convenient transportation options made it an excellent choice for my trip. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area.

The food was excellent and our room had a superb view of the the cove. All the rooms seem to have the same view, looking out over the sea. The baths are spacious and well designed.

Everything worked in this hotel. The room I was assigned was the second to last room in the corridor, so took a long walk to get there (although I found later that the larger rooms are all located the furthest from the elevators.

Modern hotel located centrally right by the Shirahama beach and bus center. Large room with beach view. Modern onsen facilities.
