We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SingaporeBring your own toothbrush! It is best to arrange transport with Snow Freak Sunrise before hand, it is quite the climb.
It's a very cosy, traditional place. We get to sleep on a futon in a tatami room. It is clean, the scenery from the rooms in the morning is amazing. Inou-san is more than willing to drive us around the place. The breakfast toast with cheese is delicious.

I like that it is literally in the snow. My kids were super excited which was why we changed our accommodation here. But for people who cannot live without showering everyday maybe need to consider the fact that the shower is located at the most bottom floor and is super cold and a bit scary since no one else using it. But if you dont mind and come here for the snow it is good

United StatesFacilities are old so those with dust allergies might struggle a little bit. The shower area seems like nobody uses it so it's quite dirty. We opted for the hot springs nearby because of this (~8min walk or the staff will drive you). The wifi didn't work but we didn't need it anyway. These were minor things for me that didn't affect my stay.
Sunrise lift #29 is right outside so it's super convenient to reach the slopes. I could send my snowboard ahead of time and the staff had it ready for me when I arrived. They will drive you anywhere: rental shop, main resort lodge, restaurants, bathhouse, bus station, etc. Our room was big enough for 4 people to sleep in and the downstairs lounge area has a TV, couches, big tables, and drink vending machine if you want to hang out in a bigger space. The toilets were always clean.

AustraliaAccess by foot was very difficult (and, at night, dangerous) because the steep road is not cleared of snow and ice. Consequently, the property had to provide a car shuttle service for guests to get to restaurants and other facilities in the town. This service ceased at 8:15pm. Communication for non-Japanese speakers was problematic. The breakfast was very limited - we supplemented it with convenience store items. The building and facilities are very dated. The staff, while friendly, were not attuned to contemporary hospitality standards. I would be reluctant to revisit unless there were no other reasonable options located in the village. However, I would not completely rule out staying there again if no other options.
Ski in/out was good. Staff did their best to help. The building was not particularly well maintained but clean. The facilities were simple but acceptable.

AustraliaNo one answers messages on booking.com. 800m straight up a slippery slush and snow hill because no one picked us up. No shuttle offered. Onsen boarded up and shower room freezing. Ordinary breakfast. No towels - had to pay for them, no gowns. No Laundry facilities. Not a lot nearby without walking up and down the hill. Very old building, no love here.
Top of the hill so could see skiers in the morning. There was a microwave and fridge.

Germany- the house and room are worn out and even that the house is next to one of the ski lift stations I personally think it is overpriced considering the condition of the room - especially the one of the shower room.
- there was breakfast although we did not book it (was coffee and toast but since we did not book it…) - free pick up and drop off from the Zao Onsen bus terminal - quick reply to our questions beforehand - they would have driven us to any spot in Zao Onsen and asked us every time we passed the reception

JapanThe first thing to say was "shower." The pool is not available in the public shower room, which was shown on the photos on the website. Although the staff can drive you to the onsen street to enjoy hot pot if you want, some people just want to simply relax for a few minutes after the shower. Instead, you can take a shower in the hotel but have to "leave the hotel" to enjoy onsen. By the way, you have to check the details carefully, they don't provide towels. The second thing is the facility; the decoration in the room is classic and a bit old. I suppose it is the thing in Zao, which is understandable. But outside the room, everything does not look cozy at all. The corridor, washroom, and toilet all feel like a school dormitory, which made me feel that I was not here for vacation but for training.
I really like the staff; they are nice and easy to talk with even though my Japanese is poor. The location of the hotel is very close to one of the lifts, but you have to ask the staff to send you to the nearest ticket center first. Yes, you can ask the staff to drive you to nearby locations you like, such as Onsen Street, the ticket center, and the bus terminal. Although it was simply because the icy slope to the hotel makes it impossible to access on foot. There was nothing much to talk about; it was average.

You can also enjoy Onsen, rope ways and ski loft, which is very near to the hotel and he will help you to reach to those places if you request him. I will again go to this hotel next year for a week long stay and skiing.

JapanI suggest to maintain shower room with more amenities such as body wash and shampoo. Most of the people use onsen but there are times to just have a quick shower.
I like the morning view from my room.Though the property is on high altitude,staff will pick n drop you in the scheduled timings. This service was so helpful for us.
