Comfortable and well appointed home for a group of 6 adults. 10 minutes walk from station. Recommend as a base in Hakone.

The mats (beds) on the 3rd loft area were thin given that you are sleeping on the floor, not a Tatami mat. The 3rd floor is a loft, not a room, so you can hear the 2nd floor clearly.

It was clean and fit 2 families of 4. It was aesthetically pleasing and like a 10 min walk to town but only a few min walk to a couple Izakayas. The 7 eleven was like a min or 2 walk away! Easy check in and out.

The house is beautiful and clean. Our family of 8 people really enjoyed our stay. Walking distance from hakone-yamato station. I would definitely recommend to family and friends

The kitchen was in the middle level and also the stairs was quite steep. So there will be sounds when walking at the middle level. Could probably have a carpet to muffle the sounds. The bath tub on the ground floor wasn’t as clean. I would recommend that you wash your utensils before using as the guests before might not have washed it clean ( there were some grease on the plates we used)

Location. And host was responsive. The property was in good condition and looks new and comfortable. The check in and check out was a breeze. Instructions on the property were clear as well. 7-11 is 40m away.

Easy walking distance from Hakone-Yumoto station. Nice clean facilities. Spacious for family of four. Made a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Would stay again.

Plenty of rules and most of them accompanied by hefty fines. It’s a huge turnoff to read through the full listing anyway.

This is not an ideal accommodation for a family with young kids because you can hear every sound from everywhere in the house. The main floor bedroom is open to the loft bedroom on the upper floor. This wasn't clear from the listing which includes photos of their other houses on the same property. The loft ceiling is also so low I couldn't stand up and I'm a short person.

Great little house with everything you need. Less than a 10 minute walk from the train station and many restaurants and shops. The host was helpful when we had some confusion over luggage we had shipped ahead of our arrival.

I don't recommend those with super big luggages or those who can't climb stairs as there are narrow stairs upon entering the door to get to the living area. The location could be a bit further from Hakone-Yumoto station (around 8-10mins walk), so dragging roller luggage could be a bit tiring on the road. But it's a peaceful town so taking your time walking pass through the river could be quite nice.

Awesome place to stay! Loved everything about it as it is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. - Spacious for up to 6 people and they even have 2 bathrooms and toilets. - Washing machine is both a washer and a dryer so you do not need to dry off your clothes outside. - Well equipped kitchen for those who cooks. - Available parking space for those who drives. - 7-eleven is less than 5 minutes walk. - They provide free portable wi-fi for you to use around the area. - Beds in futon style. Wished that we stayed more than one night here. 😌

Stagione Hakone Yumoto is a very nice apartment close to the Hakone Yumoto train station area, giving you easy access to the train, tram and buses to other parts of Hakone. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

A lovely modern clean traditional Japanese home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. close to the Hakone train station. We loved Hakone, if you love desserts definitely don’t miss Teramasu!

The mention of a minute charge rate for overstay seemed overly severe. Also some cutlery and/or chopsticks for guests to use would be excellent!

Great location. About a 10minute walk from the Train station if you are not lugging bags. Japanese style mattress was comfortable. We could lay 2 mattresses in the Living area and 2 mattress in the loft. Overall it was a comfortable stay and the team managing the property were friendly and helpful.
