I loved the experience here. Each and every one of the staff made my time in this lodge an absolute pleasure. Seriously, these guys get it. Clean, fun, convenient, close to Lawsons (thats important for those late night urgers hahaha). I'm stoked I decided to book here and would do so again in a heartbeat. Keep it up guys!

The staff are great and super accomodating. The lounge room has more than enough space for everyone, it’s comfy and has a few board games. Everything was always clean, and the beds are good too. It’s a very short walk to town/bus station, I did it a few times in ski boots so it’s no drama.

The trip was so memorable and the team at starfall are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It has a great vibe but isn't a party place however is set up for socialising. The free shuttles to mountains were very helpful in the morning. The beds are super comfy too if you're used to australian beds.

The owner and staff are absolutely phenomenal. They all make you feel so welcome and are there to help you with anything and always with a smile. Can't wait to go back.

Heater in the dry room is only turn on in midnight, which is not enough to properly dry out the equipment or clothing.

Considering all, the location is actually good despite there is no bus stop right in front of the property. The staff do everything they can to bring convenience to the guests, including pick-up and transfer services on day 1 and last day as well as morning transfer to ski resort. All the staffs are very friendly. The bed is very comfortable, kitchen is big and well-equipped. Quite close to A-Coop, which you can find high quality ingredients and alchohol selections.

Nothing, but only advise for family staying here to be mindful that this is a lodge with shared bathroom which is not the same as having a bathroom to yourself.

Everything about my stay here was perfect.

Absolutely could not fault this hostel. The facilities were excellent from the bedrooms (including the dorms) to the bathroom, kitchen, laundry, common spaces (including being exceptionally clean). Staff were excellent - super social and helpful, including the owners who spend a lot of time there. Free shuttles every morning to the slopes so you don't have to think about it (and easy to get back with a nearby bus stop). Walking distance to lots of great restaurants, an onsen, Lawsons, etc. The atmosphere was great, and really appeals to an awesome bunch of people. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this lodge to my friends and family.

I personally found the bed a little uncomfortable and the toilets being downstairs is a bit inconvenient for someone like myself who wakes up to go to the toilet every night. But both of these things are very minor given how much we loved our stay overall

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the shuttles to the mountains. It was perfect for getting us fed and up and mountain quickly in the morning. Place was clean and our 6 bed dorm was much more spacious than we were expecting (and very comfortable). The staff were absolutely awesome and gave us some great recommendations and advice.

Spacious, homey and accommodating. Starfall Lodge was the perfect place for our group to stay for the week. The rooms were very spacious, everything was exceptionally clean and the staff were amazing. The continental breakfast in the morning was the perfect way to start the day before heading up the mountain and the complimentary shuttles made getting to the slopes super easy. The lodge was walking distance to the bus terminal, train station and bars/restaurants but the staff were also always willing to help out if we needed to arrange a lift.

Friendly staff. Nice hot showers. Shared shower and toilet but never needed to wait to use. In addition to the included breakfast, guests were welcomed to cook their own food using the stoves. I could prepare hot breakfast for my kids.

I had a great stay here. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything I needed including restaurant recommendations and even what the weathers looking like, the facilities were excellent, best bed I’ve slept on in Japan so far, and the easy transfers to the mountains in the morning for snowboarding were a huge bonus. The location was convenient letting me walk to any restaurants or stores within 20 minutes, making it a solid choice for accommodation. Nice and quite but not far away.

The dorm rooms, common rooms, and shared bathrooms all looked freshly renovated and were always kept clean. It was more chill than I expected. Most people I met were there to snowboard not to party. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided some decent restaurant and onsen recommendations. The location was a bit of a surprise, amongst the rice paddies, but in the end it was actually pretty close to everything - a 5 or 6 minute walk to the supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops, and ski buses. The free transfers to the lifts each morning were handy. Sounds like they've only just started providing these, but when I got up in time it made it easy to get around to the different mountains.

Comfortable and clean both in the rooms, beds and communal areas. Very friendly staff always willing to help who go above and beyond what is expected of staff. Good services to the mountains, pleasant communal areas and modern and fresh, recently renovated. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Starfall exceeded exceeded my every expectation! The beds were really comfortable, the staff were super helpful and the common lounge was a great place to relax with friends after a long day on the slopes. All of the facilities were private and kept beautifully clean (the showers are huge btw!). I can’t wait to stay again next season! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location, within walking distance of many amenities. The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to cater to any needs or concerns. Which there was just lack of any concern. The beds were comfy and the breaky was quite satisfying. It's a place that makes you wanna return for a whole season

The low doorways take a little getting used to for a tall person like myself.
