Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesLack of closets and dressers to store your belongings. None of the bedrooms have a closet or hooks to hang clothes. You essentially live out of your luggage, but rooms are smallish, so it is difficult to keep large luggage open. One upstairs bedroom had only 1 outlet opposite the foot of one bed, and none was available for the 2nd bed. There are no towel bars or hooks to hang towels in the bathroom, and there is also no shelf or space for personal toiletries in the bathroom. House shows wear and tear. The kitchen bar counter by the sink is significantly peeling paint. This is probably due to the lack of a drain board or dish rack for wet dishes. Only 1 small microfiber cloth is provided, but no dish towels to dry wet dishes. You need to separate trash, but only one trash can is provided in the kitchen. Previous reviews shared that the house was not clean, but we only noticed hair in the bathtub, dust on the rafters, and a used bandaid in one bedroom, which we did not touch.
Stayed at Altair. There were 3 bedrooms, 1 on the main level and 2 upstairs plus a little nook that is great for young kids to sleep and play in. Bedroom on main level had a king bed with TV. The upstairs bedrooms had 2 about queen sized beds (no TVs). Two separate toilet rooms and 1 bathroom that featured a double sink, shower tub area, and separate smallish shower. (Would have been better to split the batroom into 2 rooms.) The kitchen area was adequate for our stay, and the induction stove worked great. Two parking stalls. Location is good, but what we thought is an odd area surrounded by sports complexes. Quiet area. Convenient to area attractions, restaurants, and shops.

United Arab EmiratesBoth showers and both washbasins were all in the same room so not much privacy if 2 want to shower at the same time and others want to use the washbasins especially when it is a big group staying in the house. Wished the check out would be around noon instead of 10am to have more time chilling in this place.
The design of the house is really nice with this touch of wood and cement in the design, very welcoming, modern and well maintained. Kitchen amenities, bathroom and toilet amenities were just what we needed. We were happy with the bedrooms and comfortable beds.
