Location wasnt the best, out of Kyoto area of interest, but there is a bus stop around 2 minutes walk from there.

Staff are AMAZING, the suites are big and equipped, the place itself is really good.

The apartment was outstanding with all the equipment and facilities you would want. The staff were instantly available to attend your every requirement and the daily breakfasts were substantial and delicious.

This is not really a criticism of the property itself, but at night there might be occasional loud noise from traffic on the main road in the vicinity.

Traditional Japanese ambience throughout the property and inside the room, spacious room, super clean, great breakfast, very responsive and helpful staff.

This was an awesome place to stay while we visited Kyoto. The staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The room and the gardens were perfect. Loved the fact there was a convenience store next door and we had a great view of Toji temple. We will definitely be staying here again during our next trip to Kyoto. 🇦🇺 🇯🇵🙏

Great location across from Toji Temple and easy walking distance to the Toji train stop. The staff were wonderful and the breakfasts were lovely.

We loved staying here. The room was spacious as well as being very clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast delivery each morning. The food was delicious. Hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, dressing gowns and slippers were provided. There was also a kitchen area with a kettle and tea bags. We didn't use it, but there was also a washing machine in the bathroom. The hotel has a great rooftop, looking over Toji Temple pagoda, which is really special at night. I'd highly recommend this hotel and the bus stop is just 2 mins away.

The location is fine, but its proximity to the main road results in some noise at night. In my view, the place lacks environmental friendliness. They excessively utilize plastic for breakfast packaging, prioritizing aesthetics over pollution concerns.

The venue boasts exquisite Japanese-themed decor, offering an immersive experience. The rooms are generously sized and come with all amenities included. Additionally, parking is complimentary.

Wasnt really anywhere to eat or not in the near vacinity anyway. A little away from downtown kyoto but only one stop to Toji station from Kyoto station. The tv could have more english channels or a streaming facility to watch english shows. Our room was on the ground floor and was noisy in the mornings as staff/people were up early and couldnt really sleep in if u wanted too.

Loved the traditional Japanese feel and traditional touches. Love the washer/dryer facility. Well stocked with toiletries,slippers and robes. Loved the size of the room and that there were cupboards to put clothes away and store suitcases if needed . Also liked that we could cook our own meals if we wanted to. Liked the bento box for breakfast option although i didnt end up eating it.

We got a middle room with no true exterior windows. Street noise can be quite loud as the walls are thin.

Stunning lobby/interior of a traditional ryokan. Large, comfortable rooms with a full kitchenette and washing machine/dryer combination. Separate shower room attached to the bathroom. Breakfast is delivered to your room and you get 4 choices each day (must reserve by 3pm the previous day). All options are delicious. We loved our stay, and the view of Toji Temple from the roof was a fantastic bonus!

Very cozy room and beautiful Zen garden in front of the building. There is a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen which are both really practical and make you feel at home. The staff is so friendly and tried to accommodate our every wish. Easy to take the bus or train in the immediate vicinity of the property, making it easy to connect. All in all, we were so happy to stay here!
