Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady in the reception was more than helpful and the staff for the breakfast was very polite as well. Room was a bit small, expected. Location was really good, right next to Nishiki Market and a few steps away from numerous restaurants and all the "action". I can only recommend.

The toilet and bathroom is the typical design of Japan so it's very small. A little bit inconvenient if you're a big person.

The room is spacious for three people, with sofa for watching TV and table for dining on. Their breakfast is super delicious, with variety of food and nutrition you need for breakfast. Their happy hour time is also attractive. Definitely recommend to all people visiting Kyoto and we'd stay here again.

Staff are so nice they great you in Japanese with a smile. Breakfast is unlimited and it was delicious. i like the NORI and MISO soup. Affordable laundry coin operated machine. Jacuzzi was good.

The hotel was incredible. The staff was super friendly and I have never experienced a hotel with such thoughtful/amazing service and amenities. In particular, the pillow service option, open bar happy-hour, hot spring, and service blew me away.

Like with most hotels in Japan, the washroom was quite small but this is to be expected.

Super hotel is very centrally located, and was very easy for us to get around in Kyoto. The staff were very helpful, especially when I left something behind after checkout. They had my item and were gracious about keeping it safe until I was able to pick it up. The happy hour was a nice touch and the breakfast buffet changed daily which I liked. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A bit hard to find initially, as it's tucked away and requires the use of some smaller side roads to get to. Google maps unfortunately isn't very clear, but once you found it, its easy to get to!

Really helpful and friendly staff. The amenities were fantastic, with the included free breakfast and on site onsen being definite highlights! The rooms were small but clean and comfortable and the location was very accessible, being only minutes away from a bus stop that can bring you to all the major tourist sites, and walking distance to Nishiki Market. Close to many great restaurants and shops as well.

This is a cute property. With generous staff and delicious breakfast. We spent 2 wonderful days. It’s also very close to markets so that we could enjoy the night life in Kyoto as well. And the facilities are just beyond expectations.

The pillows that came with the room were hard buckwheat style pillows. However there were additional softer pillows available to select from in reception.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a good selection that changed each day. It was lovely to have an onsen in a hotel in the city. The complimentary happy hour drinks were a wonderful touch.

Excellent location, walkable distance to Kyoto Kawaramachi station, Gion, Potoncho areas and Shinkyogoku/Teramachi shopping streets and large shopping centres ie Takashiyama. Despite the close promixity to the happening areas, the location of the hotel is quite serene. Besides offering great breakfast, there is also a free-flow drinks happy hour from 6-8pm. The onsen in the hotel is decent, but nothing much to shout about. Staff is also very helpful.
