Not much in the way of food nearby.

Staff were incredibly accommodating and very kind! My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights here, and in between we hiked Mt. Fuji. We were able to leave our luggage with the hotel while we hiked, and when we returned, they went above and beyond and allowed us to shower, even though our room wasn’t ready for check in yet. Rooms are also very spacious for Japan.

We wish the 3 of us would have been allowed to stay in the queen bed with futon room together. With a child it would have been perfect size. But we had to get 2 rooms.

The room are quiet large. The bed are very comfortable not too soft and not to firm. The jet tub is heaven after a long day. We would stay here again.

The hotel is located a bit away from Gotemba city center and station, but still central enough if you don’t mind a few minutes walk to the next bus station or supermarket. The room is very comfortable and clean with spacious bathtub and offers everything else you need.

Rooms were larger than we expected, especially in Japan. Large bathroom with jacuzzi and free parking is also a bonus. Though they don't offer breakfast but a McDonald's is less than 2km away.

There is nothing to not like about Hotel Square Fuji Gotemba

Hotel Square Fuji Gotemba is a great place to stay that is in a the perfect location for visiting the Mt Fuji region. The staff at Hotel Square Fuji Gotemba are very friendly and welcoming : ) They provide comfy pyjamas, the bed was very large and comfortable, location is quiet, the main room and bathroom is very large by Japan standard. The room and bathroom are infact larger than most hotels we have stayed at in Australia. The hotel star rating system is under rating this place as it is much better than other places we have stayed in Australia that had same star rating but Hotel Square Fuji Gotemba was so much more fancy. Amazing lighting system to touch located on bedhead. There are lots of great dining options to choose from just minutes away. Gotemba Premium Outlets are just up the road as well

They don't have hotel restaurant. You have to walk far just to get something to eat. No taxi in the area.

It has a very nice view of Mt. Fuji just outside your window. I love and enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi. The room is clean.

There were some areas in the room where I noticed mildew, in the humid Japanese climate this can pop up quite quickly, though, and is not necessarily an indication of negligence. Nonetheless it would be good for the cleaning staff to look into ceiling corners when they're tidying up.

The room and bathroom were spacious and well stocked, very easy to relax in. Really appreciated how quiet it was, renovations were going on at the time I stayed, but from the sound level in my room I never would've guessed. I simply walked from Gotemba station, but if you have more than one piece of luggage, this likely won't be easy. I had a comfortable, enjoyable stay, and would like to commend the staff for their graciousness.

The Hotel seems to be discreet from outside, but inside it's very beautiful, has a great decoration and a very pleasant atmosphere. The room is very clean and exactly as the picture. The smoking area is the best I've seen in all the hotels I've visited, I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again.
