SpainThere is no breakfast at the hotel but there is a coffee machine at the lobby for the guests to use. For me it wasn't a problem.
I absolutely loved the hotel, they upgraded my room to a beautiful and specious room. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Metro station to go to Kyoto station is 4 minutes away and only one stop.

JapanI did not like that the curtains in the bedroom were not exactly blocking 100% the sunlight. In Japan, the sun rises very early, so, you will probably wake up early.
The location is perfect. It is also very good value for money. It is very clean and very easy to access too. It has a nice coffee machine at the reception that you can use for free.

United States- as a Westerner, I found the shower bath arrangement very awkward for me and uncomfortable. Although it is clean and modern.
I would stay here again. It deserves the exceptional rating. - very close to gojo station. - very close to an excellent mom and pop restaurant right around the corner in the alley to the right (Warakumiishimaru). I ate there every night to avoid the Kyoto crowds and the food was excellent. - laundry facilities on site - modern, big and clean rooms. - large bed - good or excellent lighting. - designer sink - coffee machine in lobby - nice roomy desk - AC with remote control

United StatesHotel rooms are quite small which tends to be an issue if you've got big travel bags. Also, there was no microwave in the hotel, but the hotel staff would let you use theirs in their break room.
Cute hotel and not very far from the Nishiki market, which is a great place to eat and shop. The hotel is also a few minutes' walk to the Kamo river which is a great place to walk or jog.

NetherlandsI have no words about this place, it offered the most comfortable and high quality accommodation during our trip to Japan! The attention to detail on how everything is arranged in this property to provide everything you need is beyond any expectations. The rooms are super cozy for resting and they come with all kinds of cool amenities including a bathtub, a super silent water boiler, a laundry box, a small fridge, a small sofa, an A/C and many more. You also get clean pyjamas, free tea, coffee, face masks, toothbrush, bottles of water and even a small gift upon check out! The property is either recently built or recently renovated and everything is shining new. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and at the same time you also get clean towels. The staff are super polite as well and will help you with whatever you need with a big smile. You have to stay here to experience what I am trying to convey through a small review! Japanese quality in all its glory!
