All facilities are clean and tidy. The labels as instructions are clear and lovely with hand drawn cute cats! The apartment is very spacious with a living room and bedroom. There are also enough utilities eg garbage bags, utensils etc. The location is also convenient that it is between the JR station and the castle. The host is also very friendly with prompt reply! They let us store our luggage after check out, very nice!

Be aware that you need to climb some stairs to get into your accommodation.

Accommodation was clean and comfortable, 7-11 was close by, Matsumoto Castle was walking distance. Check in and out was smooth and easy.

Very minor, but there is only a washer and no dryer. There is an interior drying rack and a line to hang clothes on the small patio porch that worked well. No complaints, but just plan ahead to make sure you have enough time for your clothes to dry.

This place was cute, comfortable, clean, and cozy. Check in and check out were a breeze. The host was very generous and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived early, and after we checked out for a few hours to accommodate our train schedules. This is a great location, just 10 min walk from the train station and right off the canal. The interior was extremely spacious (especially compared to our small hotel rooms in Osaka/Tokyo). We stayed here with 3 adults but could have comfortably fit several more. Everything was clearly labeled so it was easy to move about the house. Host was responsive to messages on Booking.com and over e-mail. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends traveling to Japan later this year.

Such a nice place, we really wish we could have stayed longer! The host had thought of so many things to make our stay comfortable, from the facilities they provided to the friendly notes explaining everything - especially important for those of different cultures like us! The smell of the tatami mats in the large lounge was quite strong (stronger than other properties we’ve stayed at with similar rooms) - a bit unpleasant. Other than that everything was great.

The house was really cute and the beds and mattresses were all very comfortable. We used the washing machine and hung out clothes up on the little balcony and it all worked out really well! Tons of amenities available and the staff was very friendly and polite as usual. Location was good - walking distance to historic shopping streets and the castle, as well as downtown Matsumoto and tons of great restaurants nearby. Free parking was a bonus and a relief!

This was the BEST place! It was super clean, spacious & comfortable. What we loved most was how the host placed these hand drawn cute cards with cats all around the house explaining things and how to work them. Bath towels were big and soft and the down comforters were really really fluffy!

Apartment was on the 2nd floor so we had to lug our suitcases up a flight of stairs but this was ok.

the 2BR apartment was spacious, clean, had great heating and excellent wifi. the location was perfect, near train station, shopping centre (Parco), restaurants and of course the castle. the bathroom with big bath was fantastic. the kitchen was well equipped and had extras like salt and oil, tea, filtered coffee, chocolates/ lollies. welcoming host.

This is a cute, compact and ultra apartment. parking is available upon request Fantastic location, near to family mart, eateries, major shopping mall andMatsutomo castle. It has got everything you need, fresh towels, loft bed, tatami bed,washing machine, gas stove, kettle, microwave, toaster, hot shower with bath tub, air-conditioning and heater. It's just like staying in your own home. Perfect for family with kids. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. will visit again

Location! Location! Location! Can not beat this location. 15 minute walk to the castle grounds, 10 minute walk to the train station, and 5-10 minute drive off from the IC. Amazing room as well.
