Superb country side view and away from hustle bustle of city noises! Super good place to destress! A huge nice country side view overlooking from the first floor reading place ! The owner was so thoughtful that he turn on the warmer to warm our room before we arrive knowing it’s cold that day !

Nice spacious room with private bathroom and a lot of heating for the cold nights. South facing so sunny and warm in the morning and best time to go for a walk. Breakfast also cater for vegetarians . Wish We could stay more than 1 night.

Lovely house and location as it was 10 years ago with spectacular and peaceful country scenery. The staffs were short-handed but still managed to provide good service and helpful information. Very nice place to stay around the region.

as above - design flaws in villas especially . Staff were pleasant but not much customer care snd focus - a compete lack of initiative to meet guest expectations . Accommodation is a service industry and very little service initiative was shown . we were not informed in advance of our arrival that certain meals were not available on certain days so the day after our arrival breakfast snd dinner were not available but the following days they were and we confirmed we would have breakfast on day 2 and 3 but dinner wasn’t available on day 2 and we advised we would go out on day 3 BUT we didn’t get to see any staff to pay for our order hence when we did see staff on the morning the 2nd day we were advised dinner was not possible as we were too late in confirming- two issues - why didn’t the staff seek us out for our confirmation and 2nd why are the staff so inflexible - they still had a whole day to sources ingredients . I am in the hotel and villa business and the customer is always No 1 - my staff snd i go out of our way to meet the needs of my customers

property is in a good location and the main house is actually reasonably well designed but our friends , part of our party , stayed in three of the Adagio villas just nearby / the design of the villas was totally impractical . the property as whole has great potential but sort out the design flaws and review operation issues to be more customer focused with more flexible approach to issues .

Just a little bit far from the main city but good for quiet place if you have a car it is quite good.But if you haven’t, there are a good place for relaxation and shuttle bus service.

I took the breakfast option one day as it was recommended in some reviews but it was not really worth it.

We stayed one night at the villa one night at the main building. If you are a large group consider taking the villa, the main building has better view though. They picked and dropped us up from Biei station. We did take the taxi one time. It costs around 1200¥. The location is wonderful, specially to enjoy sunset. They have free bicycle which you can borrow to ride around. The host lady super nice and very accomodating.
