We found the rooms too hot and the bedding too hot also. We couldn’t turn the temperature control below 20.

The location is excellent for night life and in a very beautiful spot. The shared lounge and roof fire pit brought people together. It was lovely to relax with a wine or a cuppa. We were lucky to experience a geisha performance on the Saturday night. A real highlight thank you.

The location of the hotel is fab. You're close to so many sites we walked to alot of them,and if you dont want to walk the local transport links are great. Right next to Poncho Alley there are literally dozens of restaurants on your doorstep. With a lovely terrace on the 3rd floor. With a fire pit you can sit and toast marshmallows and drink a glass or two of wine ( which was free). There's even cultural nights - we missed the Geisha playing the koto. Rooms were spacious , and staff couldn't have been more friendly. Breakfast is on the rop floor with a magnificent view over Kyoto

Location was excellent and makes travel to tourist attractions very easy. Many food options in the neighbourhood as well. I also liked the pajamas provided every day. Great view from the hotel room too.

We stayed for 5 nights for vacarion! The location is perfect if you would like to walk around to the nice canals at night. We didnt book breakfast but there is a blue bottle cafe inside the hotel which was convenient.

Beautiful hotel, would highly recommend it. The view from bar/restaurant over Kyoto is lovely. Staff so helpful and friendly. Nice room and we enjoyed the lounge. Would definitely come back.

Everything was perfect!

Everything was amazing! A beautiful hotel in the heart of Kyoto, with delicious breakfast, great amenities and very friendly and helpful staff. A plus for the coffe shop and the souvenir shop in the ground floor. We will definitely visit again!

Room size is ok 25-26sqm, however if you keep luggage open, the walk path will be quite narrow.

Super convenient location. 5-8mins to various bus and train stations. Many restaurants and bars just outside of the hotel that opens till late night. Hotel level 1 also has restaurants and Blue Bottle Coffee. Staff are very friendly. Room is sparkling clean with a nice smell. Mattress and bed sheets are perfectly comfortable. Nice view at level 8 hotel main lobby. Free to borrow umbrellas from hotel during rainy days.

More experienced service. Check in was difficult.

Newly remodeled property. Beautiful views of the city and surroundings. Tons of nightlife nearby. High end shops and restaurants in and around the property.

Nothing - truly an amazing experience

We were not expecting how amazing this place would be and the view from the free top floor lounge. My brother is disabled and the accessibility was great, the service impeccable and so many surprises like the fire pit with marshmallows every night, free drinks in the guest rooms, a library and an activity room 😊 The walk to the hotel is full of cherry blossoms - very aesthetically pleasing and walking distance to everything you need.

The view from the room was not great and our room was at the back of the hotel.

Not a big deal though one time cleaners seemed like they forgot to finish cleaning our room, bed wasn’t made and towels were left on the ground. So coming back to the scene was strange.

We loved our room, super super spacious and clean. We would 100% stay again for the location also.

Rooms were big comapred to tokyo. The lounge is amazing. Loce that you can get free drinks and snacks. I really enjoyed the geisha performance when we stayed. Overall amazing experience!
