taking bags up to a third floor which had a very low ceiling. futon beds and open to the middle floor.

rooms were lovely. we stayed one night. was a place that the facilities were so good that more than one night would get the better value. close to bus stop, train station and 7/11.

Standard Japanese home problem, narrow and steep staircase makes it hard if you have large luggage. Living room is on 2nd floor. Other than this and some stained chairs and sheets, eveything was great.

This is my first time booking an Airbnb via Booking.com. The experience was perfect! Eveything was great about this place - Location : just 5mins walk frm Hakone Yumoto station. Host: Super helpful and super responsive, even allow us to leave luggage at property ahead of checkin and after we have checked out. This is super helpful because the coin lockers at station are almost always full. Facilities in house is top-notch. House looks like Santorini theme decor, very nice. We had a wonderful stay for a family of 4 plus two grand parents. Kids also loved sleeping into the loft with lots of toys to play. Thank you super host!

Big thumbs up to this place! The villa was outstanding - very new, extremely clean, plenty of kitchen equipments and excellent location. The luggage room was a big plus which saved us quite some money on coin lockers.

When I first checked in, the pass code didn’t work. It took me a while to realize I was entering into another property managed by the manager. I tried to contact for help but there was no easy, immediate way to contact the manager. No coat hangers in the bedroom is another shortcomings. I am not sure why this basic essential is ignored by the management.

The only thing we found a bit difficult to work out was the hot water for the shower but with google translate we worked it out. The towels could be replaced too as they were very small and worn out.

It was very clean and appeared very new. The bedding was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family. The location was excellent, nice quiet location but still walking distance to shops and station. 7/11 was across the road.

All equipment operation instruction in Japanese so I need to get staff to help. it is much better to have also instruction and the area information in English. Rooms set up for family but just one room having a door thus other sleeping places having no privacy. Messages from booking check in and check out are translated into English not friendly to the visitors.

absolutely amazing! Very modern home located right in the heart of Hakone. 6 minute walk to the train station. 7/11 right up the street. If I come back to Hakone I will definitely be staying here.

Great location, guaranteed parking that was easy to find. Our kids loved the loft area with kids kitchen and toys to keep them busy (and give us a break)! They also really enjoyed the little zebra and unicorn kids slippers for them to use. Such a sweet gesture. Overall great find! Would stay here again.

The communication was unhelpful and inflexible. Even considering the language differences, the tone was at times abrupt. There were almost zero english language translations for instructions, except those in the booking app.

The location is great and the building is very clean and modern.

The sheets look clean however a few of us felt it was itchy after sleeping the night. The bathroom shower was a little wonky as the water was going hot and cold randomly. Could hear the neighboring unit talking at night as the walls seem thin but bearable still.

The exterior facade was grand. Likewise for the interior, it was nice and cosy. Lovely 3 storey apartment. The location was very near the train station to get around. We could store our luggages earlier in the store before checking in which help to ease our travels.

Towels were on the smaller side and some are stained. Bedsheets abit dusty.

Plenty of room, there are 2 toilets and a nice play kitchen for the kids. Overall a very pleasant stay.
