My main complaint is that the “welcome manual” did not warn us about how long the washer/dryer combination would take. One load took a whopping 4.5hrs! I wish I would have known in advance so we could have started the load sooner. Instead I woke up at 3am to check on the clothes which disturbed sleep.

Wonderful property located only a scenic minutes walk from the train station along the river. Property was so cute and made a lasting impression!

We required a change of villa during our stay due to 2 separate bookings. The price difference was significant with only a small change to rooms. Villa 2 was better value.

Lacked cleaning supplies like paper towels. Not enough towels for longer stays. The English instructions were a little hard to follow, especially for the TV.

The kids upstairs room didn’t have additional padding over the futon. But it wasn’t too bad.

The location was amazing. Not too far away from the train station. It felt modern but had a twist of Japanese culture. The dinning room was Beautiful. The kitchen had small things in it that we could use to cook.

The property is very clean. It was good enough to accommodate family groups. It’s very near to yumoto station and 7 eleven is just 2 min walk. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to visit again in future. The host was very communicative and provided us the region pay coupons as part of Govt initiative.

Indeed it was all great. It locates in 10 min walk from the station, which is very important. There were bus stops nearby, and no problems with the transportation. A surprise was the entertainment system with a wall projector and all possible online streaming services available. A convenient store nearby - across the street, was very convenient. However, due to the Covid restrictions there were almost no place to eat after 7pm even near the station.

Check In time is too late. Prefer to check in at 1pm at least. Check out time is too early. I wish it could be 12pm

The smell. Upstairs smells because the vents on the extraction fan over the stove haven't been cleaned properly or often enough. we opened every window but when we closed the windows at night, the smell immediately returned. Some of the bathroom towels smelt very bad. Like dirty socks. I think they were washed but left to sit in washing machine for too long. We couldn't use them. We couldn't turn off the outside light at night which made it hard to fall asleep. I did look for a switch but couldn't find one. We were booked into Guest Villa for two nights but we left after one night only. We didn't want to stay there any longer than was necessary and we booked into another hotel.

Excellent location, walking distance to the train station. Communication before arrival was excellent. We knew exactly what documentation to provide beforehand and how to reach the premises. Entry Code instructions were very clear. Premises were very clean (although see additional comments).

We were 7 people and we stayed in Villa 1. It was not so comfortable for 7 people as 3 couples. 1 couple with teenager needs to sleep in living room next to kitchen, 1 couple under roof where you cannot stand up. Only 1 room was normal as sleeping room. This was extremely uncomfortable. Also everywhere just futon beds. We didn't like it. Not comfortable for western people at all.

Nice accommodation with everything you need. Very clean, very close to hakone yumoto station, 7eleven shop is 50 meters from Villa, very famous onsen is 20 minutes walk.

our stay in Hakone was a little disappointing. Our villa (no 2) was joint to another villa and our neighbours (6 of them) were loud and kept us all awake until 4am. The shower is located on the bottom level and it smelt musty/mouldy. The towels smelt so bad and we couldn’t use them, the owner organised to get them changed.

The location was good and it was clean.
