Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaI didn’t like that there is a high percentage of foreigners in 2024 that don’t know capsule hotel ettiquette. This means that sleep floors are often chatty at night sigh groups of travelers talking after 10pm. It seems to be a high-end hostel now.
I like the coworking hub, and unlike other capsule hotels, the pods can hold luggage. The Millennials has the best proportion of pods per floor. I’ve been to other capsule hotels like First Cabin and it’s too busy.

GermanyIt is not the hostel's fault, but there were a few snoring guests on 2nd the 3rd night, pretty much a gamble wherever you stay.
I stayed for four nights. It is probably the best hostel to stay in while visiting Kyoto. It has an unbeatable central location, a huge common area for work and socialization, free beer hour, and cozy and comfortable beds/capsules. I haven't tried breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe best place I've been so far. The staff is so friendly, the pods are great, especially the theather pod. There is no noise, you can have a good sleep. There is place where you can eat, drink or work. Great location, most of the atractions are within walking distance and bars and restaurants are really close by. I highly recommend this place to everyone, you won't regret it.

BrazilA bit pricey compared to other hostels. Only one washer machine per floor, and it broke during my time at the hostel.
Super modern capsules, very clean and well located. Bathroom was available with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hairdryer. Common lounge area was very spacious and provided coffee/tea. Staff super friendly and helpful! I’d definitely stay again!

AustraliaI would give 10 stars but there were some loud guests after 10:30pm which was disappointing and disruptive to sleep - this is not the hostels fault though.
Fantastic hostel right in the heart of the main shopping and restaurant area. Comfortable beds, amazing modern facilities including lounge area and great showers. Everything was really comfortable, clean and modern. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

United StatesLaundry facility costs a lot of coins. Theater pods not worth it. Projected screen is not straight at all so can’t see anything properly.
Great value, staff, unbeatable location! Nice work lounge with everything needed for life. Fast WiFi! Great networking space as well. The office has phone booths and Herman miller chairs which is so luxury.

AustriaI'm a millenial staying at a Millenial Hotel! :-) I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything is super efficiently designed for a very good price. The location is great as well, some sights are within walking distance, and the metro station is closeby. There are a lot of restaurants and cafés around to pick from. The common lounge area is great, as well as the separated working area, everything is thought of. Can highly recommend this stay!

Loved the lounge and the theater/mart pod was an absolute game changer (it has a projector, a really goood reclining bed, plus it can comfortably fit two bodies even though it’s just for one) Also walking distance away from the more quiet cafes of kyoto.

Amazing boxes acting as rooms, iPod control is a really interesting idea that works! You have a locker under your bed that fits all your items. Place is super clean. The common area was great for meeting other guests as well as staff members, who offered me tremendous amounts of help and tips not only for Kyoto but other parts of Japan.
