The hotel did not have a front desk and I had to call the staff. The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way and gets dark when going back at night.

It had a large amount of amenities like a washing machine, kitchen stoves and microwaves.

Absolutely perfect - easy and quick check-in, great appartment with microwave, kitchenette and even washing maschine, very helpful staff (and super good English). Would definitely book again as it is close to the metro and bus lines and main station (and the bed was soooo comfy!)

The hotel reception didn't mention to us on how the room service was to be done. And since we stayed for a period of 4 days, we had to be mindful of our own trash as we were unsure if there was a main trash collection area in the lobby.

My friend and i like the fact that it is in the quiet part of Kyoto. Theres a non JR train station nearby. And 2 Family Marts right around the main road. There's also a Mcdonalds along that main road. But most interestingly, opposite Mcdonalds you can find a wonderful takoyaki shop.

Staff wasn't available most of the time, so you had to ring and wait for them to come. In some occasions this would be more than 5 minutes, not ideal.

Location was quite good if you like to walk, as we do. The room wasn't huge, but adequate in size. We didn't stay for long but the inclusion of a basic kitchen and laundry machines is bound to be convenient on longer stays. Neighborhood is very quiet, traffic was never heavy. Combinis 3 minutes away walking was very handy, as were the vending machines right outside of the hotel.

The room is fine but also quite rudimentary – let's say it goes right to "the point". Apart from the moment of check-in we never met anyone at the reception – which was a bit of a shame for the Aoi Matsuri since the host who recommended told us to go the day of arrival wasn't there to warn us it was cancelled for bad weather on the day itself.

The Point is located down the street leading up to Kiyomizu-dera, and is also 10 minutes by foot from the Kyoto station – which makes it both pretty and practical if you plan to do some excursions. The washing machine, fridge and kettle are very welcome during a long trip where this amenities help to feel a bit more "homy". The beds were comfortable.

First night was miserable as the guests staying on second floor were noisy, walked loudly, kid jumping till 12 midnight, n I almost wanted to go up n asked them to be more considerate. Wrote email to hotel n requested to change room n got no reply at all, sent email twice. Asked the reception staff n she told me no room available. BUT the second n third night, no one stayed above us!? So we managed to have better sleep.

Location is good, direct bus to Kyoto station.

No cupboard, but it was ok with hanging stand It was available washing machine top door with dryer, but it couldnt dryer at all as usual so we need to drying our clothes inside the room because no balcone

They could have put some area where customers can put their changing clothes inside the toilet. Also we saw mosquitos during our stay. I suggest they can provide mosquito nets for windows.

The location is very accessible to Kyoto's famous tourist spots.
