Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaI was driving and free car parking is there, but if you are using public transport this hotel a little bit far from the station. Surrounding a bit industrial. Also, I would suggest providing coin laundry facilities in the hotel.
I wanted to review this hotel because this was one of the best hotel rooms that I had ever stayed in. This hotel rooms like 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 conditions. Huge bedroom with 75 or 80 inches TV, free movies, luxury type bathroom setup with jacuzzi bathtub, separate power room, toilet, and bathroom. Unlimited free drinks beer, wine, soft drinks, and all types of shampoo, hair conditioners, and all. I would recommend to have a free day to stay in the room to relax, if you are tired of traveling. Also, I need to mention about the staff at this place. They are very helpful and kind. I ended up making a friend from Japan who is one of the hotel staff and his name is Yamasaki. His English is very good and we had good conversations few nights.

United KingdomStaff lock/unlock the rooms remotely from reception. You tell them to lock/unlock on entry and exit. Got locked in our room twice but quickly sorted using room phone. It's a 25+ minute walk to Shonai station and taxi drivers had difficulty finding it. Keep the windows closed and blinds drawn to avoid the industrial stuff going on next door
Huge clean comfortable room. Free beer, wine and coffee in reception and free breakfast delivered to your room. This place is a love hotel primarily. TV at the end of the spa bath made us smile. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Gadgets and other stuff in the room and the ability to rent saucy costumes was a surprise. Would stay again.

HungaryBit far from the station. A nearly 20minutes walk. They should change room in-out system for a card system. You have to call the reception if you want to leave the room and enter the room. I dont know if is this safe in case of fire or so.
Very big room, free ammenities, drinks, beer.

TaiwanAlmost none, except the place, is a little bit remote!
The service: you can find the staff almost 24-7, and they are super friendly. In the morning, you have plenty of choices for breakfast and its quit delicious. They have free candy and beverages for you to take, and even better you have multiple bath salt flavors to choose from. 🤩 For the person who likes to take a bath a lot, like me, this is a real deal! The room: we are living in is 502 and it is a perfect honeymoon room for us. We can just stay in the hotel without going out for a week. 🤣

JapanWhat makes it a great love hotel makes it bad for vacation. The location is out of the way and in the middle of a industrial district. It is a 20 minute walk to the nearest station and no buses nearby. If you have a car or rental not an issue as they have parking but if you rely on public transportation it takes a walk or a taxi.
My fiance and I booked this is a wonderful love hotel while on vacation for a deal. The bedroom has a large and comfortable bed. As well as having adjustable lighting and a large TV. There is a microwave, fridge (small), and a water cooler. The bathroom has a bathtub with a jakuzzi jets in it as well as a TV. They provide alcohol, drinks, and bathtub salts. The hotel also has multiple breakfast options (complimentary) as well as dinner options (free for members). Overall a great love hotel experience.

IrelandThe Door mechanism. There is no key and they buzz you in from reception , which i found quite quirky and amusing , but the deadbolt system cant be opened by button from the inside , which i only realised when in the room and discovered i couldn't get out. It turns out you have to use the room phone to ring 9 so that they can let you out. Its the first time i had experienced that and i don't think i liked it. Thankfully I'm not claustrophobic. This is my only gripe.
I had booked the wrong dates , and the staff were fantastic in helping sort it , even without English. The room itself is big and has pretty much everything you would ever need. Hot and cold drinking water , a fridge , a microwave , a huge TV , jacuzzi bath and awesome shower , heater toilet seat. Controls for the lights , fan and dimmer switches are at the head of the bed. theres a couch and a table as well. It really has more than any other room ive stayed in. Also free drinks in the lobby , which i found to be amazing. They also sell uniforms and eh "toys" if you happen to need any while you stay.

United StatesThe location to be honest isn’t the best, only recommend for travelers who rent cars or using taxi for their main transportation. It is very hard to find if you are going with public transport. And the google map just simply don’t have the right path for walking option, you got to see the path for cars to find the correct entrance for the hotel.
Very kind staff, clean and spacious room. Even have drink bar and snack available for free.
