Prices at hotel bar were far from giving you value for money, since you have a cover price, which you suppose to get an aperitif for it, eventually you get 10 peanuts as an aperitif, we found that not a very "Japanese" vibe....

Hotel is brand new. Very clean and comfortable. Location if PERFECT! you are a 2 minute walk from all you came to see in Kanazawa. Staff is very welcoming. Hotel has a shuttle bus from the main train station. all felt wonderful.

I loved the staff there, very helpful and very kind. The breakfast was also wonderful! We're both a bit picky, so I am always unsure whether or not paying for breakfast upfront is worth it, but the variety and quality definitely made it worth it in my opinion. The location of the hotel is also pretty convenient, in that we had no trouble walking everywhere. We were in close walking distance to the market, the castle and the garden.

That the restaurant was fully booked on the days a stayed there. Not that there aren’t any great options nearby but it should be possible for hotel guest to reserve a seat. But apart from that I really liked my stay.

We are world travellers who are always looking for the little extras that make a stay special. This hotel exceeded in every regard. Firstly the location. Two minute walk to the castle and 10 minute walk to the gardens. 2 minute walk to the market. 15 minute walk to downtown shopping or Samori District. 15 minute walk to Geisha District. Then the breakfast is not to be missed, with Sushi Chefs, Fresh salads, and all the Western Breakfast items. There is also laundry available on floors 6 and 4 which came in really handy. We fell in love with the City in no small part because of the hotel!

There was some noise (like an alarm or something like this) probably from the outside multiple times during the night. I would prefer to have a better control on turning off the heating of the toilet seat without the need to call a staff member. I would like to have more storage place like drawers and closets.

Very rich and diverse selection at the breakfast. Impressive design of all hotel facilities, especially the lobby with the waterfall and the breakfast area.

If this hotel had an in-house bath/onsen or gym it would have been perfect.

This hotel was a dream. Not only was it comfortable and clean, it was pretty luxurious and stylish. The interior design was sumptuous without being tacky. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and there was a large window with a view to the inner garden. It is also in a great location and we could walk to the gardens and old town within minutes.

This is a fabulous hotel. I stayed 5 nights and it really is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in 100’s!) Gorgeous room, beautiful public areas with garden, super quiet, lovely staff, great amenities. The location is easily walkable to the attractions of Kanazawa I hope to return!

The Sanraku offers everything you could possibly need when visiting Kanazawa. Great location, beautiful and stylish hotel with lovely facilities. We particularly enjoyed the Club Lounge and the Violinist was wonderful. A very special hotel and one we would love to revisit.

During breakfast , staff let us wait long as we have 8pax. I’ve Insisted to split to few tables yet they didn’t . They let many guests entered. We waited there more 30mins more which lead our schedule behind .

This hotel’s staff are so professional and their English is very good. We loved the comfortable pajamas, bed, linens, and dishes in the room. The free drinks in the fridge, the coffee, and all of the amenities were very much appreciated. The location is central to everything in Kanazawa. The breakfast buffet selections were top notch! Something for everyone!
