Good hotel despite it being a little dated….

The service of one of the staff. The front desk staff Roseline was very slow in her work, which is acceptable, but was also very rude when I was checking in, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this stature. She was very curt, and when instructing me to fill in a form, asked me to fill in which country I was from. When I filled in the “Nationality” section, she got annoyed and raised her voice, saying I should not have filled in that section. Even at that point, I apologised and proceeded to delete the entry for that section, but she again in an annoyed and raised tone, said “no don’t do anything else, leave it!”, as if I were a child. For context, the electronic form had not even been submitted so a wrong entry on it is so easily rectifiable with a push of the delete button. This is one of the most unpleasant check in experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world, much less in Japan where I’ve only had very positive experiences. This is my 9th time in Japan and second stay at Tokyo Prince Hotel. While I will be retuning to Japan again, I will certainly not be returning to the Tokyo Prince Hotel if this is the kind of service their staff exhibits.

Room is quite old and the view to see Tokyo Tower is quite disappointing, that you couldn't really see whole tower. Also, the outdoor breakfast area was closed so you couldn't see the Tokyo Tower.

Shower head holder was broken and very outdated, not really usable as a Shower, more just the bath. The dooor between the main bedroom nd entry makes it feel cluttered and claustrophobic. Rather small rooms for the grandeur of the rest of the hotel and the suites opposite

Location was perfect, room had a brilliant vuew of tokyo towrr. Staff were polite and welcoming.lots of extra amenities and restaurants in hotel or close by. Lawsons on level 1.

Our room size this time was on a smaller scale but with a nice view of Tokyo tower. This was our choice though this time. Cannot complain. The larger rooms do not have that view.

This is our usual hotel accommodation when we spend time in Tokyo. "Timeless Nostalgia" as the big signboard at the entrance of the hotel states is the right message. We like the space in and around the hotel, the location and the parking facility for our car.

The size of the room. But that's a general issue we Europeans have in Tokyo. I believe that for Tokyo standard, the room size is actually pretty spacious!

Landmark location with fantastic tower view. Smooth checkin and checkout. Clean quality room and good service. Would like to stay again one day.

The rooms are in need of a makeover as they are a bit outdated. The bed was rather hard, but acceptable. The lighting, as in most hotels, was poor. The restaurants were over priced and not open every day. I would have liked a microwave in my room as opposed to a common microwave in the floor lobby near the elevator. All of the bellboys are actually women. I have no trouble with that concept, but they struggled with the weight of several pieces of my luggage.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Everyone was dressed in their respective uniforms and they were very formal in their appearance. A few had a little trouble communicating in English, but they tried and eventually were understood. The heated toilet seat was a nice touch. The rooms and facilities are very clean. Very close to Tokyo Tower.

Pool was not in use, room was a little dilapidated and certainly not up to modern 4* hotel standards.

Common areas were very well presented, excellent staff, very friendly and welcoming.

Great location and nearby metrostations and restaurants. The grocery store in the basement is great, also for glutenfree options. The breakfast is extremely expensive, so we did not try that. Recommend the grocery store in the hotel or the bakery a few metres outside the hotel.

- the location itself and short distance to metro stations - the quietness, we heard nothing during the night - the unique view with a drink to the Tokyo Tower - the supermarket inside the hotel

The hotel is very nice but the walk to the metro to get to the centre of Tokyo was always about 12-15 minutos which was farther than what we had in mind.

We really like the hotel and how comfortable the bed was. The view was also great overlooking the Tokyo Tower!

While the staff does speak some English, I had minimal interaction with them aside from check-in and check out. Polite but maybe just a little impersonal. Not necessarily a bad thing, I arrived late in the day straight after 14 hours of flying and almost 2 hours of trains, so I'm sure I wasn't at my best myself. The bathroom was also slightly dated compared to the rest of the room, but completely usable and clean.

The room itself was very spacious, probably the largest of three hotels I stayed in while in Japan. The room was nice and had standard modern amenities like USB chargers and multi-light controls. Overall a nice room for a decent price, and within a reasonable walking distance to train stations, restaurants, and some shopping.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station, walking distance to Tokyo tower, and planet lab borderless. The temple and shrine next door and gardens were unexpected and lovely. The twin room size was as we expected.
