I'd recommend this property for the family Vacation, We have and elderly travel with us for the trip and there is one bedroom in the entrance which is very convenient for her and she love it. There is parking lots in front of the entrance of house. The explaination guide from owner is very clear. Fully Equip kitchenware. Very good atmosphere. Everything is clean. The house is located nearby Hakone Lake which is very good. I'd stay here again

Very noisy upstairs guests. Had to knock on their door at midnight in the rain. When they jumped around, my ceiling bounced, as did the projector and my movie.

There was no complimentary tea or coffee facilities in the accommodation, despite the photos showing this available. The mezzanine bedroom area is misleading in the photos, this has a very very low ceiling and is only suitable for children. During our stay there was only one restaurant within walking distance and no convenience stores, very difficult to find or purchase food for breakfast as nowhere within walking distance is open in the morning. Overall I think we would have been better staying at the other end of the lake where there are more restaurants and facilities.

Overall the accommodation was fine for our length of stay, but could be improved.

Were unable to get tv to work for us in english and couldn't get netflix working. Just need to plan ahead for groceries if applicable. Bus cost not included in the hakone pass and it does take a long time from Hakone township.

Facilities are self serve. We were unable to locate any shops nearby, but didn't have a lot of time to look, so we would eat before catching the bus ride back to the room. Its a lengthy journey in the bus, but we managed fine with 2 adults 2 kids.

The PIN did not work for the lock, and it was me and two young children that had spent hours in transit that felt stranded. Luckily, some man came and gave us a metal key. After that, everything was fine, but it was a bit of a rough start.

Instructions on operating of some electrical devices not very clear. High chance of encountering wild insects in the apartment as it’s surrounded by forest. Encountered spiders in the room around the size of a small kid palm which scares my kids and not much help can be given by the property host.

We didn't realise how remote the apartments were. We had great difficulty in getting to the location. A recommendation would be to add somewhere to store luggage before check-in. I know the website states this, but there is nowhere else local to store it, and the luggage delivery at the train station won't deliver here. Probably don't stay here unless you have private transport.

The room was excellent. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. All the amenities were provided.

Villa Hakone stage is close to the cablecar and to the Lake. It is immersed in the park and it represents a great place to spend a night while visiting Hakone. The structure is clean, full of facilities and the staff is very kind and helpful.

On rainy days, the area just outside Villa entrance door tends to have lots of water, making it hard to move in and out as well as load and unload luggages. Inside the door, the floor before stepping up will also gather some water. Not sure if that can be improved. There is no convenience store nearby. But if one drives, a few are accessible within 10-15 mins.

The Villa is nice,clean, well equipped and spacious for 5 of us. Parking is easy. The ropeway station is very near. Management is very good, able to provide directions and prompt to respond when in need. Thank you for recommending Onsen places and providing link to discount coupons.
