A very minor critique, but the kids play room is on a reservation system for only one family at a time, and the several times we called to book, it was already reserved till late at night or through the next morning. Again, we didn’t even know about this facility when booking so not a big deal, but weren’t able to make use of it.

Super spacious rooms (seems like a converted apartment building?), gorgeous views, others had mentioned that there’s not much nearby but with a car, a bunch of restaurants and convenience stores are within 5 minutes’ drive. We came with our 15 month old and felt that it was a very safe environment for a baby, so we could really relax and let him run around. Also super convenient to local attractions like Granpal, Shaboten Zoo and Jogasaki Kaigan.

• Pool can’t be used before 1pm during week days, temperature inside was a little bit cold • no seats or chairs on the balcony. Weather was great in March but sadly no chairs to enjoy the warm spring sun •rooms were clean but some parts in the hotel like carpets and walls definitely need new paint, some furnitures could be switched to newer ones. Unfortunately the pool was under reno which we didn’t know until we booked.

The property is a big dated resort with a romantic charm. The kids enjoyed the stay and rooms were clean. There were ongoing works to maintain the property. The outdoor part of the onsen overlooks some pretty views and is clean.

Bathing facilities in my room, and the distance my room was from the main area of the hotel.

My room was extremely large for myself. Bathing facilities were disappointing for myself being a westerner. Getting familiar were my around the hotel, took a bit of time. Rather involved, until you get use to it.

All the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Rooms and the condominium is spacious with incredible view of the ocean and Oshima Island. A quiet great place to getaway from the city. Food is delicious and satisfying. Definitely coming back next time.

The property is easily accessible by car and provides a big parking space. We really liked the view from the room with excellent sunrise. The size of the room was excellent, onsens with amazing view and swimming pool made it a great family time for us.

1. Kitchen was available but there were no utensils to cook or usage. Not even dishes. Hotel charges for utensils !! 2. Hotel provides 2 rooms , 1 hall with attached room with Tatami sheet and 2nd western style bedroom. We were just 2 adults and 1 kid. So we didn’t use 2nd room at all. Hotel should have some cheaper option with Hall and attached Tatami room only. It is enough.

The hotel rooms are very spacious and clean. It was a pleasant stay overall. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Amenities in the hotels are too good and it is resort like experience. Location is remote place. hence, it is better if you have your own vehicle. However, hotel has their own shuttle service for izu kogen station.

Kitchen are listed, but cookware or tableware are provided. The front desk requested an additional fee to have tableware--I think that is ridiculous to show a kitchen but provide no means to cook or eat in-room. A car is definitely required, as the location is not near anything.

The units were spacious, allowing families to spread out a little. The amenities were nice, including the billards and ping-pong in the main lobby, onsen and swimming pool. There is also a spa on site. The view was very nice looking out over the valley at the ocean.

The facilities were run down and outdated, plumbing was old and dirty, broken tiles. Poor customer service, no flexibility, none of the instructions were in English - not even for the hotpot ordered for dinner. Too expensive for what was offered. Barely a there star hotel.
