We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

PhilippinesThe only issue I had was the location, and this is probably of my room being next to the train station. It gets loud at some very short moments in the night which might interrupt your sleep. Though I was still able to have my rest.
The place was just so spacious for the price I paid. They have a washing machine which was very useful. The facilities were so state of the art, truly Japan.

Very big room, convenient check-in with a code. When we had issues with the WIFI, we got help immediately. Very friendly and fast reply on the booking.com chat We had a microwave and pan, plates, and other kitchen equipment and a washing machine.

AustraliaLocation overlooks the volcano however construction work had all windows covered. I booked for 3 people as the photo online shows 3 beds. There was only two double beds. Place was not of the highest quality especially for the price which was far too high. Maybe because I'm an overseas guest.

This property is very close to the train station and it was modern and clean. We could barely hear the trains since they did not squeak or honk, but just a soft rolling sound, it did not bother us at all.

JapanWhen we arrived at night, the building looked literally like an abandoned building. There was a door that seemed to be the entrance, but there was no light at all illuminating the hall. The apartment was poorly illuminated. We were assigned the 2nd floor; which was okay for a building without an elevator, but people in the 5th floor would have had a hard time (the floor was never advertised in the building). The front facing windows' sound protection was non-existent, and the train was really loud (one could feel the building shaking as well every time the train passed). Overall, it was pretty bad experience. The fact that you don't speak to a single human during the booking-to-stay process translates to a lack of accountability that is really frustrating. The last piece that made everything the most frustrating, is that despite having paid what we paid, one day before, the same room was posted for *one fourth* of the price we paid.
Somehow, the bed area looks just like in the pictures.
