We paid for the largest room, which was still great value. We watched the sun set and Himehi light up for the night from the upper balcony. The garden next to castle is interesting. Wing is less that 1km from train station, easy flat walk. The Sanyo Department store near station has a great food hall in the basement. Book with the breakfast if you can.

The rooms themselves are small. We had a twin room. However the size of the room did not really allow for the two beds.

Hotel location is close to the castle. And a short walk from the station. Staff were very kind and helpfull. The hotel itself looked clean and new. The breakfast provided was simple but tasted good.

I think the room has a 24 hour ventilation system that seemed to either get really cool or flick to air con in middle of night

Many dust in the room especially in front/rear at TV workplace, the air condition is old and have many dust of the air-flow, it didn't work properly, can't adjust, it is difficult that there is no english how to use, and we didn't notice about the main lighter on the top of the room, we spent sometimes to know that there is remote in our bed head. - we didn't sleep well on that day but the most we liked is bathroom, perfect!

location is good as it near to Himeji Castle and other places. the staff at breakfast seems to rush us to finish it because we were there at 8.55 - anyway it's ok she didn't rush too much.

The pillows. Dammit I hate Japanese pillows; the ones with beans filling sections on the underside of the pillow. I want soft pillows that I can flip and it feels the same job both sides. But there's little that can be done about that, I suppose. And it's a minor complaint.

Nice room. I liked that the single use stuff was in the lobby and we only took what we needed. I always travel with my own toothbrush and razor, so I see no need for the rooms to be stocked with them.

The room is not so spacious.

Location: 5 mins walking distance to Himeji castle. Cleanliness: neat and clean Staff: friendly and helpful Facilities: vending machines are available, and you can see Himeji castle from their terrace Breakfast: nothing fancy, but they got fairly good choices with buffet style and it’s quite satisfying. The restaurant attached to the hotel is quite good too. They have choices of local Sake and local delicacy ok their menu. Overall good value for money.

The Aircon/heater maintenance could be done more often, I checked the filter out of curiosity and would say it's about time for maintenance but it works sufficiently. There wasn't any dust or smell coming out from it so it's still in working condition.

The location was pretty good, straight road from Himeji station exit is is located between the station and castle. The balcony had a nice view of Himeji castle too. The room is neat and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and easily approachable.

The bathroom smelt! Was clean but as there is no ventilation apart from small fan the room smelt. We were unable to locate a switch for the main light so had to pull the door card from power slot to turn off. As a consequence nothing charged overnight.
