Facility was quite dated, everything seems abit old. Location was alright, i cant say it's really close to the station as it's still a walk, esp with luggages, but the walk was pleasant, with nice sakura trees all the way.

Staffs were really friendly and very helpful, i'll give them 10/10. Onsen was great, although a little disappointment the outdoor onsen was close but overall a great experience. Breakfast was nice, if you like western/english breakfast. Room was very spacious.

We found it a bit expensive, but everything was good. It's not close to the train station.

The outside Onsen is very nice even though it doesn't have the best views. The room we had for 2 people was incredibly big. The staff was very nice and friendly.

There is no elevator in the annex building where we stayed - so one needs to be reasonably fit to get up and down the steep stairs. Leaves collect regularly in the outdoor onsen - something one needs to accept when using. It would be nice to have a toilet at or near the outdoor onsen which is on the roof. Otherwise it is a long climb down steep stairs to the toilet at the main indoor onsen.

Nice onsen facilities and comfortable hotel located fairly near (walking distance) the Hakone station. Rooms were clean though the furnishings were a little old. Well maintained indoor and outdoor onsen. Helpful staff.

The location of this hotel is quite far from the train station. Not an issue without luggages but it was pretty challenging navigating through the narrow walkways and dragging the luggages up the sloping roads to get to the hotel. The room can get quite cold and the air conditioning unit was old and took a long time to get the room to a comfortable temperature.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean with comfortable beds. Since the hotel was located away from the main streets, it was very peaceful and quiet in the evenings.

Hotel was quite a walking distance from the train station/bus. There is shuttle service provided, but the initial trip to hotel was quite the walk. Would have been great if hotel reach out to new customers on possible arrangement for transport from the train station initially.

The hot water in the shower went every time we used the shower. Had to turn it off and wait in the shower for a few moments before trying it again. This was inconvenient in summer but I imagine it would be hard in winter. Checkin was next door which was confusing. There was a sign but we initially assumed it meant upstairs not next door.

The onsen and hot springs is not available for people with tattoos so we weren’t able to use these facilities.

The property was in a perfect location in Hakone where it is close to the station and close by to attractions. The room was very spacious and the staff were amazing and friendly.

Everything in the room was a bit "old" and there was also an "old" smell. Pricey, but it's the case for the whole area, it seems.

The room was a bit run down and could do with an update. Very clean, just a bit run down for the price. Would have been nice to be able to see the view out of the windows (frosted). The description for a family room says it has a private bath on balcony. Note that this refers to the shared outdoor onsen, not having on your own balcony.

The outdoor onsen was fabulous.

Very good breakfast (english style) and 2 onsens are available, one indoor and one outdoor (on the rooftop) I try the outdoor one, it was incredible !

We just missed liquid mosquitos. If we checked carefully in the room before we wouldn't be bothered by mosquitos... But it went well. we could sleep better.

Onsen was nice! Really cosy typical onsen ryokan. I was happy to share the experience with my family. We wished the open air bath can be turned to ladies in the morning. We cannot complain since the evening bath was also nice.
