it's quite far from action and by nightfall surrounding area is really quiet. no restaurants open past 6pm. the sound from the exhaust fan in the toilet is quite loud. the bed wasnt very comfortable, i can feel the springs from the bed

the facilities was complete, it even had a washing machine. location was walking distance to the lake.

Host is not responsive. Provided checkin instructions only at the last minute. Also heater at the room is not suffecient and room is not clean, futon bed has lots of hair from previous guest. Kitchen ceiling has molds and flickering lights at dinning area.

The location is good, close to Motohakone port.

It was very accessible and a decent size but the upstair neighbours were very noisy and it woke us up at 3plus in the morning with all the noise.

There was a bad smell all over the room from the moment we entered the room until the moment we left. The mattress was uncomfortable, the emplacement was perfect but we didn’t feel good because of that smell. The sheets and towels smelled too.

Beds to hard, and no drinking glasses available. Communication with owner not good. Wanted to stay on for more nights. But owner not responsive on messages.

Loved the location, central to Hakone tourist atractions. Apartment also neat and comfortable.

The cooker was not close to any electrical socket so difficult to use. No knife for chopping board to prepare food. Neighbours upstairs were very rude, jumping around and moving furniture at 11pm!!

Paper thin walls so you can hear everything outside or upstairs etc. The extracter in the shower unit was useless. We used the washing machine but useless as the drying didnt actually dry the clothes. The room was cold, so it required the use of the heater. Also, the location was made to go south down to Izu etc. But found out the buses were very limited and often required a big journey to Owarda before heading back, which would be hours of on a bus. The town also closes at 5. Only few restaurant options

Sheets were a little old and dusty (residual dust from a drying machine I suppose). Kettle was not working but we used electric stove instead.

Location: Very close to bus stop and docks. It was easy to find with google maps. Has anything you need in kitchen for short stays. Also washing machine is a very big plus. Larger than hotel rooms. You will have 1 bedroom, 1 living room plus kitchen and batroom when you close sliding doors. Two air conditioners were more than enough for our time.

The location is walking distance from several visit point. The room are spacious enough and comfortable. The check-in was a breeze with password to lock box provided to you prior to your stay or upon enquiry via Booking. Great value for money. It is a great place for a relaxing holiday where you can have quiet walk in an amazing scenery and serene atmosphere.

You can check it anytime, no rush, coz they will tell you the password for the lock box. the place is so comfortable, we like it. also the location is fantastic, very close to the Lawson, Pier, even the bus stop and Pier. Their private parking is awesome.

The apartment had a musty smell, there was no space for us to put the two futons, it looked dirty, the bathroom had a bad smell. Furthermore, the bed linen, sheets etc were not clean. Bad place. We don't recommend it. The owner did not return our contact. We will ask for a refund of the payment. The place is horrible.
