The room was very small for three adults. There was no view. I paid for lodging on the lake but the window looked out on to a light well. We couldn't even see the sky. Sleeping on the floor and sitting on the floor did not work for me.

The staff were nice. The location was great. The onsen was nice.

No room facilities like coffee or water in the room. The towels were so small and rough. Breakfast was traditional, not for me but others may like it. Sleeping on the floor was a cool experience, but it’s not very comfortable.

Sleeping on the mattress on tatami is a bit uncomfortable. The hotel is a bit outdated but well taken care of.

Our room was a bit dusty and the shower head in the bathroom sucks! I took full advantage of the public hot bath because it was better.

My friend and I were able to walk to the facility on foot with our suitcases. Sure, it’s cold since we’re traveling in February. We didn’t utilize the free shuttle until we were checking out and going back to Kawaguchiko station. The public bathhouse was great! We had it to ourselves twice in a row which was nice.

This is not a big deal but the game room is three machines so not much of a game room.

Location was nice, we booked this the day of since we wanted to extend our stay other day. Very accommodating staff. Very Ryokon experience and breakfast.

There is just hot boiled water in the kattle and there's nothing else in the room, need some bags of tea or coffee, or coffee machine, No welcome drink or thinngs, The restuarant close too early at 6pm.before we arrived, overall the hotel is quite old but clean.

The hot shower took a long while to heat up. I suggest to let it run before you go to the shower. or just head down the onsen to shower instead. we have a baby with us so we only could use the shower room.

Facing lake Kawaguchi but cant view mt.Fuji. Nothing extraordinary about the room nor the view. Got at a decent price during a peak period. The package we gotten does not offer breakfast or dinner but the plus point is Lawson is just next door. Wish we could explore a little bit more but time wasnt on our side.

Dinner was pricey . The spas were dated . The futons were thin .

The Ryokan was along the lake front and we had an beautiful view of the lake . The property was very classically attractive, decorated with several artifacts . Room was typically smallish . They had a shuttle to Kawaguchiko station .

Seemed to be a mix up with our booking and they didn't seem to be able to find our reservation. We were then put into a 'very small' room (their words) - so extremely small and didn't even fit the two futons side by side. Nowhere to sit that wasn't the floor, which wasn't great for someone with limited mobility/ability to get up from the floor. When asking the next day (after seeing a room being cleaned that had armchairs not at floor level), and as the hotel had emptied of other guests a bit we were able to move to a larger more suitable room. We lost our lake view though and were over a carpark where we couldn't open the window as people smoked beneath.

Friendly staff although limited/no English (and no Japanese on our part). Nice location opposite the lake. Appreciated the free shuttle to/from station and hotel.

I booked two room, for three beds , unfortunatetly it'' o e room is facing the other wall if building. My room is facing lake it was very nice..., but when I asked to change the other room to facing lake as well, their request additional 2000 Yen for each guest, so it's 6000 yen. Is it going to be only 2000 yen if the guest only one ? Looks like price is not depent on room side...🙂

I wasn't used to a Japanese breakfast. I wouldn't have missed it for the experience, but I probably wouldn't include it every day. We knew we were signing up for a futon experience on tutami floor, but it was a little uncomfortable.

This was a traditional Ryokan. From a cultural perspective this was an amazing place to stay. The hotel was decorated with curated historic pieces. The rooms and breakfast room were traditional. It was pretty amazing!
