The security desk had a language barrier and I got a scolding in Japanese by the person. Was a bit shocking not a great experience there.

I really liked the breakfast they had, it was filling and delicious! I wish I had done the full board with dinner now You can get arrangement for in room massage and it was a fair price and the people who provided the massages was top notch at least the guy that did mine.

Not the property but there were other guests sitting in close to us that were loud and had questions about everything. The staff did their best to tend to their needs.

Best Hotel in Lake Kawaguchiko (probably whole Japan). The breakfast was so clean and fresh. In room onsen was so good after walking around the lake and before the check-out to refresh you.

Amazingly attentive staff, fantastic meal even with a pallette that isn't maybe prepared for all the food, there will still be plenty to like and youll leave feeling full. Room was absolutely breathtaking, out in the decking area and around the private onsen you could forget about modern worries and find some peace.

It’s only weak point was there was no direct view of Mt Fuji from the private bath

Everything about the hotel was exceptional, from the location to the staff to the breakfast. The included Japanese breakfast was very intricate in its presentation, and was very very tasty to boot!

I know that the extremely attentive guest service is supposed to make your stay file special - but at times the staff being about just made us feel rushed.

The hotel's pick-up and drop-off service to the nearby train station was limited to only once during check-in and once during check-out. It truly is a shame to exclude such a service at least twice a day, especially considering that the train station was quite a distance away, making it a 20-30 minute walk for those without their own transportation. Additionally, we were not informed about the pick-up service before our arrival. Fortunately, we asked station staff for directions, and they were aware of the hotel's pick-up service, allowing us to arrange a shuttle pickup.

The service was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to ensure that everything was well explained. The room was spotless and impeccably maintained, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One unique aspect of this hotel was that you rarely saw any staff members around, but this didn't pose a problem thanks to the detailed explanations provided. I always felt well-informed and never lost, which added to the overall convenience of the stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the additional paid dinner service was a true culinary delight. The private onsen was a real highlight of our visit. It was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing experience. The toilet facilities were also well-stocked, and the inclusion of a Dyson hair dryer was a thoughtful touch.

Our shower had a little bit of a sewage smell every so often. But went away after using the shower a few times.

Great, clean rooms. Cute little koi pond out in front. Private onsen in the room was the highlight of our stay.

The mattress was pretty firm. That was definitely our only issue. Had we slept their multiple nights I would have been uncomfortable.

All our meals were fantastic and so filling! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and give us a luxury experience. The rooms were beautiful and exactly what you need to have a private onsen experience. Bathroom had headed floors so we were never uncomfortable.

The resort was truly ideal to relax and unwind. The staff were all very polite and attentive. They do speak very basic English and could get by. The room was spacious, and private onsen is truly delightful to soak and relax. The room is so clean that you can't find any mold. This is probably the only place where I could not spot any mold in hotel bathroom. This place provided me with a very relaxing stay. The breakfast and dinner is so sumptuous that it is fitting for a King. Worth dining in for the experience especially when u could dress in Japanese costume.

Everything about the property was amazing! The room with the private onsen was amazing after traveling from Tokyo as well as the delicious dinner and breakfast the next morning. Felt well taken cared while we were here!

Staff, location and vibe were amazing. Highly recommend. A really layed back set up, but with all the comforts you need. Suggest stopping to get a fresh lobster and request the BBQ from the staff, was so good.

Beautiful room and excellent location for visiting Mount Fuji. Food is glorious and the room is just superb. The two single beds are great as a main bedroom and the futons fill the floor area adjacent to the main rooms. Stunning place.

The area is quite secluded and doesn't have any picturesque view of the mountain nor lake.

Love the property tho I wish it was located in a more accessible location of Lake Kawaguchi.
