Amazing stuff, great location. It was clean, I liked the facilities, restroom, shower, kitchen, patio, everything was great. Overall the style of the guesthouse was enjoyable. Kitchen and common area/living room was pretty big. The dormitory was quite big as well, there was space for luggage, small lockers for valuables, even a sofa. You could hold your backpack inside your bed because there was enough space. I would definitely stay there one more time if I were in Nara.

Staff super friendly, you could pay to have breakfast which was really good: toast, eggs, juice, yogurt and coffee! The shared room was big and clean. Location: excellent It is an old house, so of course the wood would make nose, so just keep that in mind, the place would never be that silent. Really loved this hostel!

The place is great! We stayed in the superior room with a nice garden view. The bathroom is shared but it’s all very well organized and accessible. Futons are comfortable and AC is working properly. Highly recommend! There is also a possibility to buy breakfast in the guesthouse

Nicest, helpful staff, who give you the best advice in very good English and CARE:). Great location (walking distance from both stations and easy to find), friendly amenities - clean shared facilities + possibility to have tea or coffee, lots of books to go through if you have a spare minute. When we go back to Nara we definitely stay at Yuzan. And it was the biggest room we had in Japan:).

My stay in this guesthouse was wonderful, the owners are extremely kind and the house is really beautiful. A large common area with an equipped kitchen. The guesthouse offers a breakfast service (paid), it is worth taking. The house is very clean, no worries at this level. The only small downside is that the internet connection sometimes has a little trouble in the room but nothing too serious. Thank you again for this stay 😊

We loved the hospitality and the vibes of our room. We got the standard room with the garden view and it was absolutely beautiful. The whole house was quiet in general, there were other people in the other rooms but everyone kept it quiet and respectful. We also liked that we had our own sink in our room for brushing teeth and washing face.

Tatami floor! Beautiful traditional Japanese room. Pretty garden. Free earplugs for noise cancelling. Great location. And a nice restaurant in the facility with a great chef ☺️

Very nice and helpfull staff. Good breakfast made freshly everyday. Cool atmosphere of old japanese house. You can rent bikes for very cheap price. Close to main attractions, shops, restaurants and train station.

Location was amazing. Comfortable and clean tatami style room. Lovely staff and beautiful setting. Walking distance to Nara Koen and subway and JR stations. We enjoyed the convenience of the very reasonable and tasty breakfast.

The staff was really great helpful and very nice. They helped me ship things I had forgotten to my new hôtel. It was perfect. The guesthouse is very close to both train stations but remain super quiet despite the location. Very close to the park and many restaurants.

A wonderful wonderful guest house. The female dorm was really clean and beautiful, and great value for money. The staff were so kind at check-in and also breakfast time/check out. I really want to go back soon. A really great surprise was the breakfast: it was freshly cooked and such good value for money! I really recommend! It was a great way to start my day before visiting Nara Park and hiking around the Primeval Forest.

The walls were very thin so you can hear pretty much everything. However, we were warned about this before/during booking and they supplied earplugs to help
