The warm welcome was wonderful. The Zaimokuza team made a tremendous effort to celebrate our son’s 16th Bday. We are truly touched by the kindness of the fantastic Zaimokuza team. And what a view and so central. We loved it.

Squaky bed and old matress and it is quite loud. They tell you that before but it really, really is (big street and terasse in front of the window), nothing for light or longsleepers :-)

Quite far from Kamakura Station. If you have big lugguage, better travel by bus not walk. Room was quite small for 2 people.

Great location! Very beautiful sea view when you wake up. The staff was nice to let us check in early. Only 1 minute walk to the beach.

The rooms are small and dated. Also, there are very few restaurants or grocery stores nearby. Eat in the town centre area if you can, though we did find a very good sushi restaurant a 10 minute walk away. Also, it is not really a hotel in the usual sense - it is three or four rooms and a small restaurant with a patio in a commercial building - our room was at the end, right next to a dog salon. No lobby, could be an issue checking in if you are late and the restaurant is closed. The door was a sliding glass patio door with the lock at the ground.

The location is very good - right across from the beautiful beach. Keep in mind thorugh that this is not really beach front, there is a very busy and sometimes noisy road in front and you have to cross tot he beach using tunnels under the road. It had a great patio with chairs a table and a hammock and great views, especially at sunset. The staff were over the top friendly and helpful.

It felt somewhat cramped; nowhere to open a suitcase except on the bed. Suggest that the small sofa could be discarded and this would leave a little more floor space.

Though the bathroom is spacious for Japan the shower room isn't. I am rather petite and had trouble maneuvering in it so I can imagine it would be a hassle for a taller person. The room itself is clean and bed, thoughtfully covered remotes for guests (changed upon each stay) but some dust here and there. One light bulb near a bed also flickering and needed replacing. It states no smoking anywhere but I could smell people smoking on more than one occasion and I only stayed a night.

Room looks just like the pictures minus some bath amenities plus they thoughtfully added hangers, a towel hanger, an electric fan and even a fold out bench for your luggage. Bit quirky in that you can use your screen door as your main door.. which is nice after visiting the beach (There's a hose to rinse with on the deck too). Gorgeous view highly recommend the end room with the hammock and outdoor seating. Staff very friendly and sweet. Wish they did a western breakfast in the a.m but the good morning restaurant in the complex does serve excellent coffee and if you are in the mood a nice looking Japanese style meal. I had dinner at the hotel and ate on my lovely deck lots of standards to choose from. Since there is a mini fridge I recommend you drop into The Chocolate Bank (I found this cafe the next day - located approx a minute outside of Kamakura station) and pick up some croissants for your breakfast to enjoy with the coffee they provide you with in your room if you're a continental type breakie kind of person.

The shared balcony cuts down on privacy. The busy street was an annoyance. The couch was low.

The location was across a busy street from the beach, but there was a beautiful ocean view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurants were within walking distance.

The location is fabulous, 1 minute away from the beach!! They also provided skin care which was a very pleasant surprise. Oh and we loved having the patio To ourselves ☺️ upon arriving we were also offered a voucher to use at their cafe, really thoughtful and nice!!

The staff was nice but seemed like they are busy with the the cafe/restaurant. The room could be cleaned a little more.

The place is very modern looking. The food was also delicious. It is very close to the beach and the lights at night make the place looks very nice.

noisy, terrible pillows, narrow space, poor privacy (my room is separated by a floor-ceiling window from the terrace where ppl walking around, so if you want to enjoy the sea view in the morning , the passerby will see you lying on the bed with your pajamas), early check out time(10am)

Very nice room, laid back atmosphere. Able to order food and sit and eat outside room with view of the sea. The hotel did not offer breakfast but the cafe next door did an excellent Japanese breakfast. The girls at reception were just lovely!

Don’t quite comfortable with the container built up room. Limited walk way in the room.

Sea view right in front of the property. Staff is very helpful on guiding us to the private car park and turn on the outdoor gas heater for us to have our dinner at the outdoor seats.
