Traditional Japanese style accommodation in perfect location. Choice of beds either futon style or framed beds. Easy walk from station, near to beach, park, river, shopping, views of Mount Fuji. Owner very helpful with great recommendations of places to eat. Lots of activities to do. Great for running, swimming, cycling, boat cruise which was amazing.

Terumi-san is a wonderful host who called a dozen bike shops to help me find the right spare part that would allow me to continue my cycling journey. I was amazed she would do that for me. I loved the guest house too, traditional style tatami room, all facilities a solo teaveller needs too, quiet neighbourhood and supermarket nearby.

Staff was super friendly, despite the fact that the guy didn't speak a word of English. When I told them my umbrella got stolen (not their fault, it was outside the hotel), I had to insist for the lady not to go to a convenience store to get me a new one on her dime. They are really nice and want you to feel welcome. This is the most authentic hotel I've stayed in Japan. Truly a local vibe.

As it is a traditional house the walls are pretty thin so other guests can easily be heard which can make it hard to sleep. However this is a minimal thing and we would 100% stay here again.

Lovely stay in a lovely location, just minutes away from transport, about ten steps to a local mart, not far from a clothes washing facility and most importantly for us it was close to the water and a lovely park. The facilities are clean, the traditional beds comfy, and having a small grill for rotating and cooking was an added bonus. The hosts were so lovely and made the stay one of our most favourite ones from our time in Japan.

The only thing I can complain about is the water temperature in the shower which was difficult to adjust. The water was either too hot or too cold.

Thee stairs a little steep, they do have a room on the first floor for solo travelers. Be careful if you have heavy luggage. Very doable because we had a strong person in our group. The owners offered to help us up as well. So nice!

I enjoyed the view of Fuji just down the street when we were heading out. The owners greeted us and explained in simple terms how to use the facilities and and the rules very kindly. The facilities are clean and aesthetic. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

It was a little hard to find the address in Google maps but once I learned the bus, it was easy to get to the train station and only ¥200

Very comfortable and clean and the ryokan owner was very welcoming and friendly. The area was very quiet but there were many good cafe and and supermarket next door. I saw Fuji San from the street outside the ryokan and there was fresh drinking water in a spring very close!

This hotel doesn't stand out and everyone finds it hard to find.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Mt. Fuji looks beautiful from the beach near this hotel so please have a look.

The walls are not really soundproof. Since there maybe other guests in other rooms, you may feel disturbed by the sound they make.

The check-in time is flexible, and the host was really kind in providing information about the city.

This was a nice house located in a residential area close to the oceanfront. The couple running this house was pleasant, and the house itself looked renovated from the inside. The room we had was good, we had a good rest. We could park our bicycles inside the house.

it’s absolutely cold in kitchen and lounge area. there was only a electric heating carpet but it’s not enough to warm up the room. heater or aircon needed with proper shutter out of some windows. Toilet door opens inwards is big No.

it’s a nice Japanese classic look house well renovated, tidy and clean. and it’s right next to supermarket!
