Although the hotel borders the Reserve, it is still at least a 20 minute drive on very poor roads to the gate itself in order to access the park. The food at the start of our stay was very good but became less so in subsequent days as we went from a buffet to a Table d'hôte menu as the hotel was closing for a period of construction work and guest numbers reduced prior to the shutdown. Although nothing to do with the hotel, as a word of caution to future guests, you should ensure that you handle payments to to enter the Reserve yourself and not rely on your guide/driver to handle any payments on your behalf.

The staff were outstanding, we met some lovely people who were very professional and very friendly. The hotel is very well equipped and is situated on the Talek river that borders the Masai Mara Reserve and we saw waterbuck and giraffe from our patio. There was abundant birdlife around the hotel.

    Nothing in specific

Lovely location alongside the Talek river..Great Hospitality of the entire staff..Joseph the receptionist,  Millie the food & dining hostess were so warm welcoming..The rest of the staff equally made us feel at home.. The cottage we stayed was a family Savannah tent ..facing the Talek river..with a beautiful ambience and feel of the Mara topography..Cuisines were superb very much authentic Indian vegetarian besides the continental and typical sumptuous  cuisines of Africa ..They provided us packed breakfast and lunch for both the days ..the 3 days we stayed almost made us feel we were leaving our home...would highly recommend the stay here

The hotel management supported my request by keeping all my family in one room by upgrading the room to family savanna tent. The duty manager Mr. Joseph Kaleku was the person who supported all my request and made the stay in this hotel wonderful. We was feeling like home and the restaurant team was very friendly and supportive as they will try to cook for you what ever meal test you want. In short we loved the place and we loved the hotel team who made our stay rememberable. Once again im thankful to Mr. Joseph and the management team in Prideinn mara camp.

Food was average - buffet items were not always hot. High tea did not include any snacks, tea cakes were dry. Rooms are open plan style so no door for bathroom area.

Spacious rooms and the property is not too big so feels personal. Saw few animals from room which was nice.

Fenomenal service - everyone from reception to guest relationship and restaurant staff. Brenda was exceptional. I'm a frequent traveller and this has been one of the best. Performances (music and Masai dance) were good and professional. We enjoyed the game drive at reasonable price. It's nice positioned

Some things in the camp need renovation. And maybe a second Coffee machine would be helpful at breakfast time.

The only thing to note is that the road getting there is very bumpy. One other thing to note….. since the property is on the edge of the preserve… make sure your guide takes you to the gate to pay the entrance fee. You will want to pay directly yourself and get a receipt. We did have some issues around this but again… this is NOT hotel related.

The staff was wonderful. We had a few glitches (not hotel related) and Joseph was a great help in trying to fix the issues. He went above and beyond. There were6 of us and even though we stayed only one night we would definitely stay there again.?The beds were very comfortable, the rooms very clean. We found the food to be very good and plentiful. They connected us with our safari guides who are from Maasai tribe who had grown up there and did a great job. The only big five we did not see was the rhino. We even got to see a very small lion cub and a lioness with her fresh kill.

The hygiene can be a better. Specially at the resturant. Saw a few cockroaches at the live egg counter.

The staff was great, smiles all around. Simon in the resturant and Edison at the reception took care of us really well. The masai who take you to your room in the evening are really great and kind too. The camp is directly connected to the mara reserve by walking bridge so very easy to go for game drives without wasting time. Food menu spread and taste was great. For indian and continental both. Overall amazing experience. Kudos to the management.

Its difficult to find something to criticize about Azure Mara Haven. The staff outdid themselves trying to make our stay comfortable.

Great location with one gate connecting to the park. Excellent for undertaking both morning and afternoon game drives. Breakfast portions were over the top, good variety of options even for vegetarians

The property is below a 3 star and far from a 5 star. The food was average. None of their amenities are functioning. They don’t even have cars or guides for game drives. The fan, electricity, safe, nothing works. They don’t even have a spa. Their head receptionist Edison is wicked. Only trying to make money for everything, transfers, water and even a false park fee that doesn’t exist and only fills his pocket.

The only good thing about the property was the proximity to the park. The GM John was also very nice and helpful.

The only thing I would recommend is to inform the hotel that you are a large group who tents should be near. Booking.com and the hotel seems to not necessarily coordinate on this. But I was very impressed how the hotel fixed the problem and went out of their way to accommodate us.

The apartment design was authentic original and gorgeous. Comfortable well situated and powered by renewable energy sources

Reception- delay in checking in. First day check in hot water was not available. Different reasons were given by the staff. Safety locker not working. Bathroom floor pool of water. Dining table no napkins provided. Had to wait for a long time for food trays to be refilled. Masala tea served first day was great but second day on breakfast the tea was totally different when pointed out the waiter took the pot of tea back to kitchen and returned back with same pot mentioning that this was the right masala tea.

    The rooms were very good.
